I have been very very pleased with my housing under MVM. This is the best housing company I have lived under since moving to Provo in 2021. I lived at Chatham towne in the fall 2023 -summer 2024 semesters. They have always been incredibly fast with maintenance requests- I called about a broken microwave, and the next day we had a new microwave. I called about the A/C going out, and they had it fixed that night 🤯. I would definitely recommend living somewhere managed by MVM. The family that manages it super warm and on top of it.

The staff are kind, but at many points it felt like I was begging for replies to emails and calls. I heard many people had great experiences with this company when moving with an ESA, but for me, they were unresponsive, slow, and often unhelpful. They struggled to get in contact with their own tenants and would only get on top of things if I emailed or called asking them for an update. After two/three weeks of this, I gave up (and still never received any kind of update) and contracted through another company.

I've rented from several management companies in Provo, and this has been the best one by far. They respond quickly and thoroughly to maintenance issues, and it is clear that they take pride in providing nice spaces to live in. This is the only company I'd actually recommend to a friend.

Mvm management is awful and unprofessional! I live below a unit they manage in an apartment complex and their unit flooded water into mine and caused thousands of dollars of damage to my apartment. When I tried to get in touch with them to work on mitigation and fixing the leak they were dodgy, dishonest, and unprofessional. After weeks of nagging them to work with me on the problem they decided it wasn’t worth their time or money to fix the problem their lack of maintenance caused to my unit. Dan Bishop was especially rude over the phone and email correspondence.

I lived in an apartment managed by Mountain View Management from August 2019 until January 2022. I had a really good experience and would highly recommend students live in an apartment managed by them.

Why?
- so good with communication. everyone in the office was very responsive and helpful.
- it felt like they genuinely cared about students, unlike other management companies in provo
- cleaning checks were totally reasonable and easy to pass (assuming you completed them)
- they were good about repairs, both in terms of repairing things right and in doing so quickly
- they were understanding of roommate problems and in appropriately assigning blame and responsibility. Example: I had a roommate that was completely unsanitary at one point, and instead of failing me and charging me for her failure to complete her cleaning responsibilities, they only charged her. 2nd example: I had another roommate who broke the disposal on two different occasions, and they did not charge me–they just charged her.

Anyhow! I would highly recommend!! Thanks for helping my experience with student housing be positive!

I rented from MVM-managed apartments for years. They did a really great job. I always felt like I was treated like an adult, and they were great at quickly resolving any issues with my apartment. I didn't understand the hate for management companies until I dealt with some of the others in Provo. I would recommend this management company over any of the others.

Management is warm and responsive. Our heater stopped working. When I submitted a maintenance request during business hours, someone was there to look at and fix the heater within an hour. One of the best managements in the BYU area for sure.

Mountain View has a family feel that I love. They treat their tenants fairly and are very responsive with needed repairs. They are courteous and answer any questions I have over call or email in a timely manner. I have loved my place this last year and am sad to say goodbye to it - it was an amazing value for what I got and even beautifully decorated!

It was a wonderful place to call home, and management helped make it a positive experience. They were very helpful in my process of finding a new contract, and I know I won't have to worry about management issues since I signed again with them!

--- I first wrote this review 2 years ago, but I wanted to add to it because I have continued to rent with MVM and continue to love it. They are pretty laid back (I do have to write in to get our utilities amount to pay), but honestly I don't mind because their value is so much better than other companies. Also they trust their tenants and treat them fairly. As an example, we got locked out at 8pm on Valentine's Day, and the owner Dan drove over right away from a neighboring city to let us in. Incredible!
