Office staff & nurses are wonderful. Dr. Nguyen has ZERO bedside manner and is extremely condescending. He will not allow you to speak, or ask questions. He is VERY rude and hateful with his patients. Or, maybe that’s only on the work comp side of things, which is all I have experience with. If you’re on work comp, and you’re looking for a provider that is compassionate and caring, find someplace else to go.

After waiting over a month for this place to deny my referral because my condition is not severe enough I am furious. I was already approved by another pain management clinic but they did not take my insurance so I got referred to ICT. Every time I called to check on my referral the receptionists were rude and short. I would not trust this place to take care of your pain and needs!

Don't waste your time with this place. They wasted weeks of my time claiming they couldn't take my file without more records. Then when they got the records showing my extensive disease spread, they kept telling the doctors they were looking at it and would call back.

They said the doctor had information in hand on October 8th and would call with a decision. Today, October 14th the primary advised me to try calling them. I did and suddenly they have an answer but it was so strange. They never called to give it to my doctors like they claimed.

They claimed the CDC doesn't recommend any of their treatments for my diagnosis? My diagnosis is rare and affects many organs. There's no one size fits all recommendation for it and any current treatment standards are definitely not coming from the CDC for such a rare disorder.

She kept repeating this rehearsed phrase like a robot. Very odd. Like I was a frequent caller or something. This was the first time I've ever called them. The phrase she said didn't really make sense. So I asked her to explain. She repeated it slower and louder. Like I was mentally challenged and hard of hearing. I said "no I don't need you to repeat it. I heard what you said. It doesn't make any sense no matter how loud or slow you say it." She gave super vague answers that were basically "we aren't capable of helping" or "we simply don't want to because this case would require actual work."

So yeah if you want to have them waste your time and give some nonsense unprofessional answer like that after months of runaround. Then sure call them. Maybe if you have something common like pawpaw's arthritis this place could work for you. Otherwise I would heed the other warnings and avoid this unprofessional place.

I take my mother here for pain management. The facility is very clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk is extremely friendly and helpful. The providers are knowledgeable and have excellent bedside manner!

The doctors aren't interested in helping people. Just controlling you. I went in for a consultation and the doctor wouldn't even listen to me.

Dr Nguyen and the other providers are always prompt and fast. Good thing is you're never waiting. Bad thing is that they have a very set routine for what they do when they come in and they don't like it to be disrupted. Which I recently did by asking questions about my pain pump and suggesting that my liver pain, if my issues couldn't be fixed by liver Dr, would be chronic pain and could we adjust things to accommodate this? My provider responded by getting upset telling me to go to another one of the providers there or find somewhere else to go. Then she got up and left the room, slamming the door on her way out. After discussing what had gone on with the nurse she spoke with Teather, Dr Nguyen's nurse (also one of the 5 star reviews), who spoke with me before I left. Teather told me she'd get me in to see Dr Nguyen. Teather later said she called me with an appointment time and left VM on my phone but I never received a message on my phone. Due to my brain injuries I have memory issues so I save my messages. I've not had any from her. When I didn't hear from her I decided to look elsewhere. I had already been considering it anyway because of how far away they are from me now. I now live out in Augusta area and they are way on west side of town. But I never hid that I was looking at other Drs. I was always upfront about it. And I never took any medicine from another Dr. But I'd have had to go to 2 different Drs for the regiment I was on. So I decided to stay with Dr Nguyen and work my issues out with him. So I went to my appointment thinking I'd try to get in to see him ASAP. But I was confronted by Teather, his nurse, and told he'd only do my pain pump but that he was on vacation. Then when he returned from vacation I was told she'd get back with me that day Monday July 24. But by Thursday I had still not heard from anybody there. Then I get a call from my pharmacy saying they sent a script (not pain meds) and they were told I wasn't a patient there. I called to find out why but they would only say a letter was sent out Monday. Well, it's Friday and I still have no letter. So apparently it takes over a week to get a letter from west side of Wichita out to Augusta!? I emailed Teather requesting an email copy of the letter and a copy of my chart but I received no response. I believe it's just a power thing for him and I've never liked the way he treats people. They have UA samples that stack up in the lab. It would be so easy for anyone to tamper with anyone else's sample. I believe that happened to me before. I received a letter from them one time stating I'd had no opiates in my system. But I had taken my pain meds every day. So there HAD to be some in my system. So the lab tech either mixed something up or someone tampered with something. Also, I'd like to point out that some of the 5 star reviews are from people who do work or have worked at the office. I'd also like to add that if you try to ask anyone a question at this office that they do not wish to answer (ie they know they are doing the wrong thing) they label you as "being rude". That's how my mess started because I asked questions of my provider and she didn't like it so I was "being rude" and she stormed out. Now that, over a week later, after I've received my 30 day notice from Dr that he's terminating our contract and I call in with questions. I'm again "being rude". The 30 days notice is a joke. He writes it in such a way that it LOOKS LIKE he is giving me 30 days more care but in reality it's "up to his discretion" and his discretion is "lifesaving meds only". So my broken pain pump bolus machine that I'd been waiting for him to come back from vacation and get it fixed. Yeah he won't fix it! He's a slimy POS liar! I'd run far and fast! His staff is no better. He's trained them well. Nothing but liars all of them! They do not have patient care at the top of their list. They don't care about anyone but themselves.

Best in Wichita, no, Kansas, no, The Heartland! & I know; I've seen many doctors over my 30 - 34 yrs of living with chronic pain & ICT group & staff are the most professional & compassionate in my experience. Am so very grateful 🙏 for ICT! Love 'em❣ ad astra 🌟

Doctors are great. Staff is very friendly. Great experience every time I’m there.
