I have practiced law, I have and do own a real estate brokerage, I have and do live in a managed condo community. Knowing the industry and the competition, Harry Cohen, owner of A-1 Property Management, Inc. is heads above any other company I have dealt with in many many circumstances.

I was a resident, then owner, then President of an A-1 managed condo, and I and all of my neighbors have nothing but the highest regard for Harry and his able staff. Disgruntled residents go along with the territory, but my experience is that the dissatisfaction comes with getting caught in violation of a rule that Harry was bound to enforce.

I have been pleased to recommend A-1 to many other communities. I do so because of the honesty, experience and hard work that I have witnessed. Other management companies have a grand presentation, but then retreat to only count the fees and do the accounting without any hands-on management.

Were there were 6+ stars, I'd click on them without hesitancy.

I work on properties on a daily basis when I compare what those properties get to what we get from A1 it’s very poor. Since they took over our condominium the property just got so run down. They don’t do anything to uplift the property & it’s always a nightmare trying to get them to address any problems. The office staff is always friendly & courteous. This is coming from an owner/resident who follow the rules and is never late on a payment. Is it wrong to ask that you do the job you are being paid to do.

When you are searching for a new home, please do your research on the management company which oversees where you are deciding to live. I've lived under property management for 15 years & also have experience working in this industry. I have never encounteres such an unprofessional & unresponsive company that is supposed to be providing a service to ensure the comfort and security of your home. I advise you to reconsider living in any property that employs this company.

My mom lives in a condo in Plantation FL, aside from absolutely NEVER returning calls and causing hold ups in updating the condo even though we have a permit and comply with the city, there mowing company shot a rock through the window and my mom had to pay out of pocket. Absolute worst property management company ever. Do not buy property under their managment. I would give zero stars if I could.

Very unprofessional. Glad he's retiring, our board was letting him go.
Likes to yell at our board members, especially women. Recently used profanity, along with a terrible insult towards a board member, my wife.

I live in a unit they mange. I have no beef with them whatsoever. It sounds like some people didn’t get their way, and vented in a public forum. Kinda sounds libelous. It’s tough running places we live at, not everyone is gonna be happy.
