So it seems most of the reviews are from “potential” tenants so I would like to leave an actual review of what it is like renting from this company. First off, Chasity is amazing and is not that difficult to get ahold of. Any time I have messaged her I will hear back from her with in 24 hours. The company will send out friendly email reminders for different services that will be preformed on the property and they are very accommodating to your schedule. The maintenance man Danny is absolutely wonderful! He comes out almost immediately and handles everything promptly and has the best attitude about it, super nice guy. Every encounter we have had over the past year has been positive and I have and will continue to recommend this company. As far as our move in, my husband and I met all the requirements and had a lease drawn up for us the same day, it was not a dreadful process. I also have a service animal that was accepted with no issues. I hope this honest review clears some of the negative.

I had a great experience working with Chasity. She always answered the phone when I called and answered my millions of questions without getting frustrated. She also was super accommodating and did a FaceTime tour of 2 properties since I’m out of state. The whole process of applying and signing the lease was easy and straightforward. I’m not sure what other people’s issue was. Overall I’m happy with how everything went with this company and hope the move in process is just as easy. I’ll update if I have any issues but I don’t foresee any based on my experience so far!

Paid $50 for a rental application for a new home. Emailed 3 times via the online contact us portal. Called 3 times even left a VM. No follow up or response to anything. I feel like this company straight up robbed me of $50 for nothing. I would never rent from a company that can’t follow up. And I better get a refund.

Now you want to reply and lie! I never received an email or piece of mail with any explanation. I called to ask questions I had prior to my partner paying another $50 to
Apply separately, which if he did, we would have been approved. But since no one returned my calls or emails we didn’t finish applying. Your company owes me $50.00, that you definitely have to give back.

Listen to the comments!! This place is completely out of order. My husband spoke with chasity about a available property. She went to tell him to apply. After the fact, she stopped answering his phone calls. I called inquiring about that same property and she answered. After I told her I applied she also stopped answering my calls. Thats not even the worst part!!

My husband and I have a ESA that’s registered with the proper paperwork. This company requires you to send your ESA documents through petscreening to be approved. The next day I check petscreening for an update just to find out someone at landhuis brokerage denied it because it wasn't an in person meeting with my therapist , instead it was telephonic conversation that got me an ESA letter. ITS AGAINST THE LAW TO DENY MY ESA REGARDLESS IF IT WAS IN PERSON OR NOT. My husband and I want our application fee back!! This place is unprofessional and doesn’t answer the phone. Believe the comments. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone responds to this review saying we didnt meet qualifications as a result we didn’t get the property just to save face. Look for other management companies, save your time and money!!

If you don’t want to read this entire review just know this: Landhuis is terrible about communicating and they do not follow through with about 90% of what they say they will.

I rented a home with Landhuis from 2021-2022. When I rented it, I set the requirements that the house must have AC. When we moved in we called Landhuis to let them know our AC wasn’t working, they went as far as sending out a repair tech only to find out the house doesn’t have AC. When we requested they install it, they wanted us to pay for it even though the listing stated the house had AC.

After moving out I thought I was done with the company and would just wipe my hands clean of them. However, we bought a house and they happen to be in charge of the HOA. I pay my dues monthly regardless of the fact that there are constantly parking violations throughout the houses we live at (people blocking the road/taking up multiple spots in the already limited parking spaces), snow removal doesn’t happen until days after it’s needed, lawn care is only done in the front of the townhomes, and I can’t even seem to get an answered phone call or have my email replied to me. Now, they’ve increased our HOA fees without notifying us. I have emailed Chasity twice and haven’t heard anything back. I’ve tried to call their number and dialed every extension possible with no return. For $130/month I guess I am just expecting them to do what they say they will.

Editing because can yall answer the phone or return some voicemails? I left a voice mail months ago and can NEVER get a returned call. Yall are doing nothing but robbing people at this point 🤦‍♀️

My year interacting with Chasity and this company overall was very pleasant. There may be some delays with communication at times because no one is perfect, but overall I would lease with them again and recommend them. Thank you.

After reading all of the reviews I was skeptical. Not to mention all the scams you run across renting a home. I was able to chat with Chasity directly and ask her questions nobody wants to hear. Especially since the questions are about her self image. Chasity was very open and honest with me. She ensured to make us, as a military family PCSing, feel a peace of mind when renting her property. She went out of her way to make adjustments that best fit our needs. Remember, only angry people leave reviews. You’ll probably even think this one is bs, I get it! However, I am a real person who went through this very real experience. Looking forward to our stay for the next 4 years l

Great at collecting fees but horrible following through on commitments to the communities they collect fees for. We pay dues for our community common area landscaping. Weeds are over four feet tall and "landscaping team" has not been seen for months. Multiple home owners have reached out via email, phone call, etc without any communication back to a single one of us.
