Had a very great experience buying my first mountain bike from the folks at The Bike Company. They were patient and took the time to answer all my questions, helping me to decide on my first bike. Once ordered they kept me up to date at every stage of the process. Lead time was weeks quicker than what another shop quoted me. Took less than a week from order to pickup. They prepped the bike, setting up to ensure it fit me well. Upon pick up they double checked the fit and explained all the essentials in detail and again answered all my questions with kindness and patience. This place will turn your bike into a death trap. Avoid this place at all costs. Took my e-mtb in for a shifter/brake housing/hose replacement and that warranted a motor drop. Picked the bike up after service and took it on a quick ride around the neighborhood and immediately noticed a small squeaking sound as I pedalled. I looked at the motor area and found that the aft bolts were missing on the skid plate, which I thought wasn't a big deal so I ordered bolts off Amazon and fixed it myself. The squeaking persisted and upon closer inspection I notice there was an entire motor mount structural bolt missing and the motor itself was moving around every pedal, rubbing on the frame causing the squeaking. Absolutely unacceptable and a huge L as the motor could easily have snapped off and gotten me killed on the gnarlier trails. To their credit the boss did reimburse me with a bit sass for the motor mount bolts and the rest of the staff was nice. but $50 reimbursement for giving out such lethal bike maintenance? Explains why this place has the lowest yelp reviews for the area. Do yourself a favor and spend your money and time somewhere else.

They really helped me build the perfect bike for me, and now over the phone (since i live out of state) they have been great about helping me tune my suspension, and get the overall right setup of my cockpit! 100% buy again!
