AVOID AT ALL COST!!

Since moving in this past December, has been a NIGHTMARE with Zero Communication! I haven't had heat in my condo in over a month. I put in multiple tickets about the heater before it finally went out right before the freeze. They offered to give me a space heater but never gave me one and won't tell me when they’ll be able to provide me with one or fix my unit.

The condo has flooded twice due to poor plumbing work, and they did nothing to help me dry the apartment. I couldn't shower or do laundry for a few weeks, waiting for them to send someone out.

The first month, I discovered I lived in a fire hazard with illegal and poor electrical work. It took them 2 weeks to fix, and they left their mess behind after each project for me to deal with in my kitchen! They even painted the walls the wrong color!!

I’ve been a tenant 3.5 months and the house has been in terrible condition since I leased it; I was promised the issues would be resolved once I had a property manager. The communication is terrible, house far overpriced, I haven’t had gas / hot water for showers, kitchen sterilization, laundry and now no heat. There is a rat infestation that has also been ignored. I have tried to with with NAM directly to get a months rent and deposit back to move since the gas pipe work is 20k and the owners can’t afford it - but every week I am stalled and stuck here. Also the property is not insurable for a tenant because this address has had so many past claims. NAM is a large company so it’s easy for them to ignore tenants’ requests and to take advantage of tenants.

I had rented from another place for 5 years and decided I needed to upgrade the house. We went with this company and WORST MISTAKE EVER. We didn't even make it through the entire year lease due to their neglect of my property. ALSO BEWARE BECAUSE THEY WILL BREAK THEIR SIDE OF THE LEASE BY NOT FIXING ANYTHING AND THEN WILL COME FOR YOU FOR MORE MONEY AFTER.

We moved in October 2023, first day the house flooded due to pipes being busted under the house. It flooded 3 times within our first month ruining tons of our things. They kept sending the same people out, promising they'll fix it. October and November they didn't do anything else to try and fix it and then December it flooded again . They finally had someone come fix it. They had us leave our house the day after Xmas and be in a hotel while they fixed it. We came home and they had left debris and flooring everywhere in my son's room. They told me to put it outside on the curb. It rained and 2 days later THEY CAME BACK AND USED THE FLOORING FROM OUTSIDE TO FIX THE HOUSE. it was warped and wet! That part of the floor was lifted till the day we left. We also had the fence falling down since move in. The gate never closed and it was leaning when we first moved in. They sent 3 different vendors out at different times/months. They kept giving me the run around and saying it needed to be approved but i had 3 emails saying it already was! Their vendors would come out and then give me a day they would be by to fix it. Usually they didn't show and I got messaged from their vendors saying north point "took them off my job and said they had someone else". It wasn't until the gate fell over and the fence finally fell that I told them I wanted out of the lease. Mind you, it's been 7 months at this point! I had dogs and they were getting out, other dogs getting in, and everyone could see my backyard from the streets. It was ridiculous. There were multiple other things that were just glued back together and never actually fixed. When I put in notice and told them it was due to them never truly doing anything, they told me I needed to pay all the way until my lease was up! I negotiated a bit but they ended up taking another 8000 from me. You'd think with that money and a broken lease they would try and update that property. Lol nope Guess what? Drove by that old house and the gates still broken and so is the fence. All they did was put a post up and nail it up. Its unbelievable. These people didn't do a thing and I feel sorry for the next sucker that they sign with. AVOID AT ALL COST. TRULY IT ISNT WORTH IT.

I remember seeing bad reviews when I signed and I ignored them....DON'T. DONT DO IT.

Benjamin Hales has been my landlord I have consistently experienced the best residential support services with north point Property Management. The staff are friendly and helpful… Anytime I have submitted a maintenance request I have received a prompt response. Whether it was servicing the plumbing or electricity, etc. Maintenance is always quick and thorough ensured that I have an optimal living environment. I intend to continue renting from Northpoint, and I strongly recommend their properties to all looking for housing. In some ways, your property management company can make or break your living experience and with Northpoint, it’s always great with the service and response time. I couldn’t be happier!

I've been living at the Destination Apartments for a few years, and I have to say, the change in management has been a game-changer! The new management team has been doing A LOT to improve and maintain the property.

Allison, in particular, has been incredibly responsive and professional. Whenever I've had an issue or a request, she's right on top of it, ensuring that everything gets taken care of promptly and efficiently. Her dedication to resident satisfaction is truly commendable.

Under the new management's guidance, the property has undergone a remarkable transformation. The landscaping is now well-maintained, common areas are clean and inviting, and there's a renewed sense of community among the residents. The updates and improvements to the apartments themselves are also very noticeable, making this a truly comfortable and enjoyable place to live.

I'm thrilled with the positive changes I've seen at the Destination Apartments under the new management. If you're looking for a great place to live with a responsive team that genuinely cares, look no further. I highly recommend Destination Apartments – you won't be disappointed!
