AGF Property Management Plus was reasonable to work with while I rented a home they managed for 3.5 years; however, I can not get a response from them regarding my $2395 security deposit. They have not returned the deposit nor provided any detail/explanation as to why it should not be returned. I would not recommend doing business with them, especially if you have an expectation for them to be upfront with you regarding the return of a security deposit.

Michelle with AGF is the best Property Manager in Salt Lake City. She is currently working with my mother-in-law renting her house and she's been nothing but kind and professional. DO NOT do business with this company. Michelle seems personable and makes you feel comfortable, but after she takes your money (including asking for a $600 dollar non-refundable deposit that isn’t included in the lease terms for pets) she will NEVER return your calls. We rented a home and were told repairs would be made prior to move-in, that did not happen. The walls weren’t painted the floor wasn’t finished (we had to wear shoes so we didn’t get slivers). We suffered there for seven-months with no dishwasher, no working garbage disposal and no AC (all appliances included on the lease) and a back door that would neither close fully or lock. At the end of July a main water pipe burst and flooded the entire yard and basement, 6-11 inches of standing water were left for a week, encompassing the furnace. With the exception of the first night the flood started, I have not heard Michelle’s voice as she refuses to pick up the phone. We moved out due to safety/mold concerns. It’s been close to six-weeks now, she responded today via text saying she “doesn’t have our deposit.” DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PERSON/COMPANY, they are not honest or caring people.

Michelle at AGF is extraordinarily professional and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend her enough or say enough good about how well she will manage your property. If you need a personal bulldog with lipstick when it comes to managing your rental properties, you will not be disappointed with AGF

We have been trying to work with AGF and it has been nothing but a headache. Their applications are a pain, and after I spent nearly two hours getting it taken care of, they were not even open! I showed up just after 4:30, and no one was in sight, we were not the only ones either. Another lady pulled up right after us and was equally frustrated.
The people who solicited the service of Michelle, from AGF said that their property has been online for almost two weeks and we were the first people that got a hold of them; and we only heart about this apartment through a friend. This couple said that Michelle told them she was going to put a lock box on the door so 2 people could come and see the apartment; but, she had not shown up yet to do it. That is why the owners of the property were the ones who had to show us around, even though they had already payed this Michelle lady to do it.
I would think twice before going with this company.

I am currently a tenant at a house in Draper and working with the AGF team has been bittersweet.

The BITTER:

1. Because Michelle is one of the most unprofessional people I have had the unfortunate displeasure of dealing with. Everything from poor communication to aggressively rude, insolent and contemptuous responses over text and directly over the phone.

2. They are hardly ever at their offices, so meeting in person is nearly impossible.

3. I moved into this house knowing there were a number of things that needed to be fixed. I presented a 4 page document of things that either needed immediate repair or had damage that didn’t require immediate repair. I have been at the property for 6 months still waiting on a number of things that need to be repaired to make this place fully livable. This has been by far my biggest upset as the property was falsely marketed and at this point we are paying a fee for a very poor property management service and a house that has issue after issue. Lastly, I believe this house was not properly inspected before we were told we could move in as none of the issues my preganant wife and I pointed out, after inspecting the property ourselves once, had been addressed — most of which were very obvious to the untrained eye.

The SWEET:

1. Leaving the property and never interacting with these two very unprofessional individuals.

Final thoughts:

I hope and pray AGF looks at this review and fixes their poor customer service and terrible internal company structure. If the company takes 3 weeks to address an email the company needs someone that actually knows business and customer service to run it.

I've worked with Michelle since 2012 and highly recommend her to property owners. She is professional and firm with tenants and will look out for you. Michelle is honest, fair and very ethical in her her business dealings. She is very personable and works well in stressful and contentious situations.
