Unprofessional, highly unethical company. However inconvenient, go out of your way now to avoid renting from this company.

They took over the management of a building I was leasing and neglected maintenance to a degree that almost burned down the property.

As a property owner, I would not want this company managing a property that I own. As a renter, I would highly advise avoiding this company at all costs.

DRG’s customer service reps do nothing and are unable to do their jobs due to what appears to be practices set in place by upper management to “manage” properties at a zero $ maintenance budget.

After my lease was violated by neighborhood violence (gunshots into property) they violated civil law and delayed me from moving out for over 4 months to continue to collect rent from me. This is an illegal practice, and is not the first illegal practice they have done during my short interactions with them.

I fled the rental after a bullet entered my living room and lodged several feet away from my bed, I was told my deposit would be directly deposited into my account. I have yet to receive my deposit after having moved out for 3 months.

This company will reap what it has sown, and will be destroyed for the evil they have brought against humanity for the sake of greed. Don’t be caught standing next to them.

The property manager, Joe Crick, has helped me MORE than can be imagined! He was very responsive, kept me updated on my application DAILY. Joe definitely made the process smooth and stress free, if you’re looking for a new home, I’d definitely recommend you to get into contact with him! He helped me find a perfect apartment within my budget. I couldn’t be more appreciative of the hard work and dedication of this manager! Definitely will be renting with them again in the future as well!

My apartment was flooded over a month ago. This happen when a hired employee hit a pipe and flooded my apartment. It was so bad that we had to drill holes in the floor to get rid of the water. No one present at the time knew where the shutoff valve was and we had to wait until we were told where it was and had to break into the basement to shut the water off. That crew that did that work are no longer employed by DRG. Finally James a DRG employee fixed the leaks. He did an outstanding job.

Since then I have been waiting for my ceiling to be fixed. There has been a lot of talk as to when it would be done but it still isn't done. I have told on a number of occasions that on this day or that day the work will be done. I'm still waiting. I understand emergencies but enough is enough... It's time to finish, and since this is a holiday weekend It will most likely not be done or started before Monday.

Joe has been extremely helpful and responsive. I was moving from a different state and he guided me through the process. He has been very accommodating, understanding, kind, and knowledgeable. I've appreciated his help so much. Even after moving in he still is quick to respond. Highly recommend looking at the apartment complexes specifically Flower Hill. Even if that isn't a good fit Joe will guide you to a place that is.

I can literally never get anyone on the phone to assist me in anything. They raise my rent every year but continue to take the previous years amount of rent then put a letter on my door demanding I pay up or move out. Then they have the nerve to try and charge me late fees and when I call them to clear things up I can't get anyone on the phone. we have been through 4 property managers in 2 years and we can't even get a call with the name and number of the new Managers. Iv lived here with my family for 7 years and now the place is falling apart. They can't even take care of the weeds and snow. Gave this company alot of chances but their just terrible.

They are awful people. The tall blonde (she told me her name is Andrea Harper) rushed me to fill out the app for the apartment and kept cancelling on me so i could move in. I moved in a day after my lease says I did because she failed to send me my welcome letter with instructions and how much money it would cost to move in and finally sent it 2 hours before the office closed. The apartment wasnt even cleaned at all. She told me it needed to be freshened up and i told her if it was already cleaned to not worry about it because I really needed to move in. The very first day a neighbor complained about me and was falsely accused of smoking in the apartment even though it was the dirty stove burners smoking.. The second day the neighbor hit my door and ran and has been harassing me ever since. But I was told that it wasnt Andreas job to deal with tenant complaints and that my emails were getting out of hand and to leave her alone. She had no problem telling me that the neighbor called her about me. I would try to contact her or whoever threw the number I had been texting her on and also emailing someone through rentcafe with no response until I asked her why I couldnt find her on the website (i was going to see if i could make a complaint about her). The new property manager Mandy M. Replied instead. Later I complained about someone slamming doors. Not to long ago I told Mandy im withholding rent until this problem is solved or I want out of my lease. They gave me an eviction notice and said I have only conplained one time and are trying to tell me that the tenant i was having problems with moved months ago and are gaslighting me so they dont have to fix the problem. Im not stupid. I texted Andrea one day, after she told me to leave her alone, and asked what I should do since its not her job and calling the cops didnt help because they think I'm delusional with no response so I'm guessing thats why they are trying to convince me that I'm in a completely different building. They seriously keep asking me who i think is stomping their feet at my head. Um the people above me appearently...Even if I am delusional then they could at least let me out of the lease because something would have to take place to make me so nervous and "paranoid" and delusional. I cant believe how disgusting these people are and how badly they treat me.

Horrible management! Unprofessional slumlords that ignore tennants maintenance requests and refuse to spend a dime maintaining the outdated property. Be careful they will try to add 100s of dollars in late fees due to THEIR incompetence. They refuse to fix or maintain the property. I've sent 9 maintenance requests for my washer and dryer and still haven't heard back. There's a pot hole so big in my driveway that uber drivers won't even pull in. Still they ignore my maintenance requests. The stairs are treacherous and falling apart but you can't use the hand rail because the wood is so old and loaded with splinters. My windows won't open because their so old. Still they ignore my maintenance requests

DRG took on the management of the apartment I rent a few months ago. Since March 2020, the heat has been out while they have made small improvements and continue to show the house to potential buyers. I and my roommates communicated about the issue through email and phone call, over and over again, only to receive false promises, no follow through. Other tenants in the building have their own horror stories. Bottom line is, if you're looking for a good property management company, don't rent through DRG.
