I needed to get my resume updated. I had my original resume writer update it, he has been updating mine for years and the original creator of my resume. I wasn't getting any calls or e-mails from recruiters, though. So I had it evaluated and it needed work.

I interviewed four resume writers or "resume companies." A few I interviewed were nothing but what I call, resume presses. They were charging big bucks, blowing out resumes, and you didn't even know who was writing it. What was their qualifications to tell my story effectively? Nope I didn't want that.

I interviewed, Vimari, we spoke for 45 minutes. She seemed to be the one who had the most passion, initiative, and care. I knew Vimari would be the person writing my resume and not some stranger. Did I mention I was changing careers? That made it even more challenging for her to write, but she pulled it off and did a great job.
