Have been using this Bus/Coach station a fair few times these past 8 weeks. Surprisingly each and every time it has been well staffed, reasonably clean , along with helpful security staff patroling the bus station.

They have a Greggs, WHSmith, and Cash points located within the Bus station.

Toilet facilities have always been quite clean, and there is a small charge of 30 pence to use the amenities. Card as well as Change is accepted.

The Station is conveniently situated to offer onward travel to many different destinations including; London, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen as well as other locations.

It's also a 10-15 minute walk to Glasgow Central Railway station.

There's also the usual plethora of fast food places located within a short 5-10 minutes walk of the station. These include a Halal KFC, Halal Jollibee amongst others. There's also a Sainsbury's right outside the station.

If you find that you have a really long connection time between your next coach, then there's the shopping centre across the road, as well as the Cineworld.

There's also a left luggage section, which doubles up as a place to quickly perform Fard Salah if you're caught short time wise.

It's a UK bus station and all that entails; it's not the best but it's not the worst.
Service X500 to Glasgow airport leaves from stance 46 about every 15 minutes (with a reduced overnight frequency).

Arrived after a long journey from Fort William. 50p to use the toilet! Went elsewhere for free. Security guys at the toilets too so clearly a problem with them so. Why charge to use a toilet when the bus companies must make so much money?

I would just like to start and say myself partner, son and father in law travelled from Edinburgh to glasgow on the 16th of march. My partner has recently gone blind where he is blind in one full eye and half in the right eye and is still trying to face his daily routine and get around using his blind stick. We both want to thank the guys that are around the busses before departure offering to help him on the bus as we were ready to head back to Edinburgh and another guy saving us a seat on the lower ground as the bus was quite busy. I was really surprised and grateful when the 2 men offered us their help and so was he. Thanks guys keep up the great work! 🙂

My last review was deleted. A few months back, my friend and I were there, my friend went to use the bathroom and was standing at the gate getting their change out. A security guard shouted at them to move out of the way and have their change out beforehand. It would’ve taken them 2 seconds to get it out of their bag and there wasn’t a queue. My friend is autistic and has anxiety so this was a really bad experience for them. The security guard then kept glaring at me for waiting outside for my friend. Then a customer tried to get into the bathroom, clearly didn’t realise you needed to pay and asked him for help. It was obvious he was a tourist and didn’t speak the language. He was directed to the change machine, got his money out but was confused by the change he had and asked for help again where he was rudely told to ‘work it out.’

i know people have bad days but this was in a 5 minute window and this man clearly needs training.
