Hi, Dr. Tolbert I truly miss you at the office as my Primary Doctor. The last few trips to your office haven't been satisfactory. After my appointment today, when I got in my car, I just busted out crying. Being in pain 24 and 7 isn't fun. It's debilitating. But, today I don't know if I want to return until you come back from maternity leave. The nurse that took me back to the room just rushed through my paperwork, she could barely answer my questions because she was so in a rush to get to the next patient. So, she came off as being RUDE. Bottom line no good results came from this visit. Very disappointing once again!

If I could put zero stars I would. I hardly ever write reviews but I am making the rounds with this one as I would hate if anyone else would ever had to experience what I just had.

Originally the appointment was with Dr. Bush for an epidural injection. I arrived at 10:30 for an 11am appointment. The waiting area was full, which I had no issues with, but was told that Dr. Bush had apparently over booked themselves with appointments. Without any prior warning I was told I would now be seen by the “owner”’ Dr. K (I do not know his last name, it was what the staff called him) who specifically came in to help with the load.

By 11:30 the clinic was beginning to empty, with new patients beginning to be checked in and seen. I go up to the staff and ask if there was an estimated time that I would be seen. I wasn’t given any information on when that might be and was only told that they were behind.

I was annoyed given that I am a caregiver that cannot be too long from the house, but decided to wait due to my back pain. Also my pain was currently becoming more severe as I purposely didn’t take any medication for the appointment.

By 12:30 I once again go up to the staff and ask what is happening. By this point at least 3 other people have came in checked in and had been seen immediately. The clinic’s waiting room was completely empty and I was the only person left.

Another woman came up (I do not know if she was a nurse or not, she didn’t even speak to me) and spoke to the front desk staff about my appointment. She then proceeded to tell the front staff who then notified me that my new doctor, Dr. K, had just left to go on his lunch break and would not be back for 45 minutes. As a reminder this man is apparently the owner of this establishment. He also came in to help with the overflow and even though they were an hour and a half late behind and there was no one else waiting besides me, decided that now was a perfect time as any to eat.

To say I felt completely disrespected and disregarded of my pain is an understatement. I decided to cancel and leave instead of wait. I refuse to be touched by any doctor who shows so little respect towards their patients time. The least the staff could have done is say please come back this afternoon or send someone to explain why things were so behind. Instead I was left sitting at the waiting area looking like a fool while no one said a thing and would probably still be sitting there had I not asked any questions.

I am a believer that good doctors take care of their patients from check in to check out. I have been to enough doctor appointments with both of my parents to see that there is almost always a direct correlation to how doctors’ manage their patients and time, to how they behave professionally and their ability to treat patients.

If they are willing to disregard their patients in this way, how can you expect them to take care of your condition.

I would like to clone Dr. Gordon!
I have been seeing Dr. Gordon since we moved here a few years ago. He has found a plethora of ways to treat my chronic pain. I have a good understanding of the treatment plan and the limitations.
As a side note - I think his job would be a tad bit easier if this state legalized medical Marijuana!

Please beware of Dr. Bush! I have been a patient of Dr. Nodine's for over a year and then I had a hip replacement and I loved her. She was terrific. After that surgery my back pain became more significant so I set an appointment to see her again. The day of my appointment the front desk contacted me and told me I would be seeing Dr. Bush. From the moment this woman stepped into the exam room I was treated like garbage. She kept interrupting me. Dismissed what i was trying to tell her about my pain. Barely did an exam and then brushed me off by saying I need physical therapy. I have been managing my back pain for ten years - I have tried everything and I tried to tell her that and she dismissed me. I just wanted to get out of there so I left - in tears. Fast forward 6 months and my back pain was worse so once again I attempted to see Dr. Nodine. I called and made an appointment. Drove 45 minutes and waited 20 minutes only to be pulled into an office and told Dr. Bush had discharged me and they had no idea how I got an appointment. I didn't even know what that meant and the lady said - didn't you get a letter and I said no and asked for a copy but was told the "printer" was down or something. She explained it basically meant Dr. Bush fired me as a patient and I couldn't return or five years. Once again - I left in tears. I will be taking every single available action against the unprofessional, abusive manner in which Dr. Bush treated me - so beware if your scheduled with her. She is the nastiest most unprofessional person I have ever met.

I love this location. I was considerably late due to vehicle issues and they still managed to fit me in and without any wait!!! They really care about each person and I don't feel like just a number to make someone money like most pain management facilities. Plus my Doctors awesome!!!!

The Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and the Administrative/Front Desk Team are all incredibly kind and understanding.m. This team of skilled healthcare professionals will treat you with patience and professionalism and will genuinely care for your overall well-being. It will be difficult to find a team that is more well-rounded or more suited to care for you and your healthcare needs. I highly recommend this facility and its staff to anyone in need of long-term pain management.

The surgery center (that conducts nerve blocks) is in the same building as the doctors, physical therapist, and imaging, yet unlike everything else, it is NOT in network for UHC. Even though office staff assured me it was in network, it is not, and I was charged thousands for a nerve block. In addition, there were multiple billing errors for physical therapy which they refuse to own up to, despite my insurance company agreeing they were in error. Too much headache and stress to deal with this operation. I strongly suggest going to specialists in a better organization that has its act together.

I have a new issue with them now unfortunately. Dr Tolbert canceled my appointment with for 11/21/24 and I was told to reschedule. Now Dr Tolbert knew my Rx were going to run out on the 23rd but didn't bother to tide me over. I rescheduled for the 25th which was the only opening before Thanksgiving. I saw Shay that day and I had told her I had run out and she put a new Rx in while I was sitting there. I checked with Kroger in Bloomington the next morning and it hadn't gone though. I called Greenwood and the staff member told me she would send Shay a msg. and call me back. She never called as usual. I checked Wednesday late afternoon and it hadn't gone thru again. I have been left without medication for the last 5 days. I'm in severe and going thru withdrawl. This isn't right to treat a patient like this. I called at 0815 hrs. this morning and of course no one answered and it is now 1000 hrs. and I still haven't heard from them. I can't go another day like this and shouldn't have to. This is patient neglect!
