I just finished my first year renting with Century Property and it has been a good one! They are really on the ball with communication, handling maintenance issues, and making sure that their residents are taken care of. Everyone on there team is very nice and professional. I had Josh today for my annual inspection. He was very professional and respectful. He was thorough and very informative about things. Im very happy with my apartment and the management team! I plan to continue my lease with them because of the security I have knowing that they are on top of things.

My husband and I are new to Century property management. We are long time tenants (9 years in counting) in a duplex home that we rented out before it was ever with Century property management. We were with a private landlord who owned the property. Until she got to old to keep up with it. We were worried when she announced to us that she was selling the property. It was a time of stress not understanding what would happen or what it meant for us since we had lived there for so long. Our landlord assured us that if we didn't want to move that she would make it possible that in the agreement with the sell of the property that we wouldn't have to move and she would try to keep our rent the same. Fast forward to the selling of the property. The residence was sold and the new owner since he lives out of state has a contract with Century property management to oversee the property. We were very skeptical going through a company to pay the rent through. Everything went smoothly transitioning into the company the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, answered all my questions and put my fears to rest We didn't have to reapply to stay in our current place. The new owner (landlord) didn't raise the rent, and the ease of paying the rent online was a plus. My biggest praise for this company is there quick response to appliance issues. The appliances were old that were in the residence my stove went out and they replaced it with a brand new one. Also after that my refrigerator went out and it was replaced with a brand new one. I know that if I have any concerns or questions I can depend on the staff to be there. I know there are a lot of bad reviews but we like this company.

This company could care less about people they just want the money! Over the weekend we went to go see a property that my family and I fell in love with. Did everything fast over the weekend we got the application taken care of and Monday I received a text AND an email about our app and if we paid the app fee and got an email requesting documents. Got everything turned in called the next day to provide my employment verification just to talk to some guy that said he don’t know anything about my application and that the house is not for rent someone came in this morning and paid the deposit! Now I’m confused because just 24 hours ago they made it seem like their wasn’t anybody approved or even made it seem like they just waiting on a deposit so how all of a sudden 24 hours later someone paid the deposit AND approved! That makes me feel and KNOW that they knew someone is already approved and just need the deposit but they didn’t care to disclose that and instead took an application fee that is non refundable! I’m angry because I feel like this company needs to learn how to be TRANSPARENT with people when a house is for rent and already got an approved applicant so that way people can make the decision wether or not they will risk still applying and paying that non refundable fee!

1. Failed to fix maintenance problems such as leaky plumbing AT ALL…despite being reported via their portal and telephone call.

2. Took a week and a half to fix a non functional HVAC system…their response was “it’s not an emergency.”

3. When we moved in there was firewood and a satellite dish in the back yard. They assured us it wouldn’t be a problem…however, when we moved out they charged us for the removal of these items.

Be very careful using this company!

I've only been a tenant for about a week, but all the little issues I've found they've gotten taken care of ASAP!
Whenever I call, they're SO friendly and if they don't know the answer to my question, thru get it and return the call FAST!
I'm SO happy I find them! Too many slumlords in my past.
I've already recommended them to others!
UPDATE: I've now been here almost 1 year STILL love living here and the management is STILL awesome! I had a strange electrical issue, they sent a maintenance guy out, he agreed it needed an electrician. Within 30 minutes the electrician called he and we scheduled a time. He was here yesterday, sweet as can be and within 45 minutes had the issue fixed! Today a guy came by to do their annual inspection, he too was very nice! He noticed that there are tree branches on my roof and said he'll get someone out to remove them before they mess up the roof. He changed the filter for the heater & was chill about it being so bad, noticed the Sump pump may need service and wrote that down plus the 1 electrical outlet on the room leading to the basement that hasn't ever worked. All of that will be fixed VERY soon because that's what they do! They already told me that they aren't going to raise my rent!

Worst experience ever. I deffinetly do not recommend this company. Was approved and lied to from the get go. They accepted applications on a rental after mine was put in first/ second. I was led to believe i would be able to move in soon. Then later they stated that the owner was having a hard time choosing between my application and others. Because they accepted apps after mine. When it was supposed to be first come first serve. They stalled for over 5 days, then stated that they couldn't get in touch with her.. Finally i received a call today and was told that they denied my application due to credit history. Which is absolutely ridiculous because i was previously approved the whole time. I was told in the beginning that my credit history was not an issue at all. On top of that this was a section 8 home.. I had excellent rental history and references. They stalled and gave me the run around for almost 2 weeks. How do you get approved yet weeks later denied. Very disappointed with my experience, would give it ZERO stars if possible.
***The owners response is inaccurate, there was no deposit put down, I was told it wasn't necessary. I called and checked on my app every day for an update. And was in fact told my application was approved by this company, then denied weeks later for a reason that i was told that would not be an issue at all.

I have not been a customer of Century Property for several months but I was having a problem with deleting the auto pay on their app and Brent helped me out so much today he treated me like I was still a customer I could really hear the smile in his voice 100 stars to you thank you so much God bless.
Brent has the care, concern compassion that all customer service Representatives trying to help the business look out for their customers should have good hire I think he deserves a promotion.
I haven't been a customers of their since the first of the year and this is September and he's still giving me the same service.
If I ever move out of my apartment I will be checking with Century Management to try to be able to get into one of their properties because this is an excellent management company I am so impressed
