Community Management Services takes pride in customer service(As mentioned in every email..."Great property management begins with great customer service"), but I have had poor response rates and poor initiative to help. In Persimmon Grove in Avon, the poor customer service has been wide spread with others in the community.

We recently had a gas line hit in our community as a local company was digging up yards for fiber optics installation. They dug up our yard and never fixed it. I have been working to get this fixed for a few months now. I have had neighbors comment on how bad it looks. After multiple emails and calls, we still have a big pile of dirt in front of our house. That happened in August and we are now in November...a time where its beyond repair until spring. A picture taken a few days ago is included here.

As much as we pay for homeowners association fees, you would think they would be responsive and helpful.

My advice to others in Persimmon Grove...if you have a problem with your property...just let it be until you get a letter or something because it is not worth the trouble.

I've always have had issues with this company from buying a newly built home trying to get access to a key fob in order to open our community pool gate. I have email records for over a year trying to get a single work order fulfilled. You would think that it would be easy to get the job done it's a simple street light that needs to be fixed. If you're looking for a property management company I would look somewhere else. I remember calling the number they had on our HOA website and it must have been forwarding to a personal cell phone. The woman acted angry that I was calling. I told her if you responded to emails I wouldn't have to call.

We moved into our neighborhood about 2 years ago. Overall, I do not have any issues with CMS. Mary B. was quick to respond to my e-mails. I love the entrances decorated with beautiful flowers coming into my neighborhood. I also think the events they have for the neighborhood, such as Easter bunny visit and candy for kids, shaved ice social gathering and other event with the Colts are a great way to meet others in the neighborhood and connect with one another. The only complaint I have is being mailed a letter stating our yard needed mowed and weeds pulled when we had just moved in a week or so earlier. Otherwise, No complaints!

Overall they do a fine job. I appreciate how nice the neighborhood looks. The only two issues I have is, one we got a letter for a violation, but there were no specifics listed, I had to call to find out what had occurred. It would be more helpful if the letter outlined the issue, so I could more readily resolve it. The other is, we were never given new pool keys when we moved in. I have asked for a new one, but never received one. We have owned the home for a year, covering two summers, and we can't enjoy the pool, because we can not get in. They are speedy in sharing our infractions, but not resolving their own issues.

I am very disappointed with the lack of communication regarding the completion status of the Community Center in Jackson’s Grant. To start with, construction was to begin in May 2017 (actually had ground breaking ceremony at that time) with the completion goal of May 2018 in time for the swim season. However, no construction took place until the fall, not even site prep. Little to no communication was provided regarding the delay which, of course, has pushed the completion date back but until when? I asked Barrie Props who, by the way, is very responsive, if periodic updates on the construction progress could be sent out to the Jackson’s Grant Community and she said she would contact someone in charge of that to see what could be done. Well, guess what? We have heard absolutely nothing and construction of the tennis court has yet to begin! We have paid nearly $1,000 each of the last two years in assessment fees with nothing to show for it but idle promises. I’m sure I speak for everyone who lives here that this has been a very slow and aggravating process.

Probably one of the worst around. This company clearly works for the builder rather than residents. They actually campaigned to raise rates, refuse to salt/plow, refuse to install signs, refuse to bid out contracts, and go back to the builder for every patio/deck request. Rather than asking the builder to contribute more for their mistake, they demanded the residents pay more penalizing them for choosing to live here. I’m really not sure what they do for the community. If you question anything, Mary B will respond sarcastically or just not respond. They often forget who they work for.

Recently, they sent an email asking to leave positive reviews in order for the employee to be entered to win a $50 gift card. It’s a truly twisted practice. Why wouldn’t a company want all reviews? Sounds like the company is campaigning for a contract and wants to make themselves look good. I would never do business with CMS!

They've added in a lovely option for themselves to report late fees to credit bureaus. They send out notices of 'violations and threaten to put means if those violations are not addressed but will not respond to multiple emails and phone calls asking what exactly the violation is. I've had to replace my mailbox twice in the last 12 months and ended up with EXACTLY the same one, but purchased from their chosen vender. They will never get the roads plowed no matter how bad the snow is. They want to make the optional pool mandatory so they can add the fees to the existing fees. Meanwhile the pond is filthy and hasn't been touched for years, the noise complaints from neighbors who can't give up their fireworks no matter what time of year it is are unresolved after years, they never respond to any attempts at communication, and they sneak in hidden fees to make sure your dues are not fully paid. They make me regret buying my house is this neighborhood

I can share 3 experiences.
1. If you go out of town call them so you wont get a letter for your trash can being out to long. This must be a big priority for them.
2. In the fall of 2017 I contacted them for paint chipping and falling off around my door frame. I even said if you will provide me the paint I will do it myself. I got a letter back saying it would be taken care if in the spring (2018). They didnt do anything. I waited until August 2018 and sent an email asking again. This time I got the answer the HOA was soon taking a vote on whether paint issues would be addressed. NOTHING DONE, NO FOLLOW UP since then either.
3. The lawn does get mowed every week.
