They say it’s a personal threat to review negatively. Just for asking questions the property manager insults you and becomes accusatory when you report anything good or bad.

What a scam, I get told by my job I have to relocate in 30 days and they won't cover my moving and so I call the company and apartment and they say tough luck and I have to pay 2 months of rent since I didn't give a 60 days notice and how could I when work only gave me 30 days and then I am getting hit with a 60 days termination fee!!!! So now I am getting charged $4,000 for something that wasn't in my control. These places need to be stopped

If I had the option for zero stars, I would choose it. I moved out two years ago. I had a month to month lease when they bought my apartment complex. Them not renewing was the best thing to happen to me. They offered me a year lease at an increase of around 200.00. I had inquired about a three bedroom that would be available and was told I was approved. When given paperwork to fill out for my emotional support dog, I said I was going to talk to fair housing first to make sure it was legal for them to ask the questions they were asking. The next day I received a thirty day notice. Since I was month to month, they didn’t have to give an explanation.

After I moved out, I received a bill for about 1500.00. I knew I wasn’t receiving my security deposit ( my kids caused damage). I agreed with maybe 100.00, but not for most of the charges. The extras were supposed to be going into effect after the date I hade to vacate. I was charged for water and utility fees for my last two months, fees for my cats for the last two months, fees for my ESA which is illegal, and the increase in rent for my last two months. I sent copies of all paperwork I was sent and got no response. I was able to prove everything, yet they ignored me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I can say this, if you're looking to motivate yourself towards homeownership and never rent again, a Denizen apartment may be for you. Mine is in Lake county Ohio. The leasing manager is invisible, and likes to respond with the most anger-inducing fragmented sentences known to the history of language.

They will charge you for the air if they could. Hopefully I gave no new ideas.

Kati, said leasing manager, will give out the most manufactured B.S that would rival a toddler lying about the cupcake with frosting on their face. Oops sorry, the system must have generated that response, totally not me.

The rent has risen to OVER $380 in less than 2 years when this company took over. Don't trust the base price, it's clickbait. They pick and choose lease options for the same exact apartment type.

I would recommend taking these reviews seriously. Before they took over, I was a calm and even tempered person....but this place will release new demons, not yet named, out of you - that's how angering it truly is living here. It is my last lease and I count down the days to my freedom of residency choice.

I used to love living at my apartment complex Timber Ridge in Girard Ohio until this company took over. I went from paying rent and electric to now having to pay all utilities and anything else they can come up with to charge for...not to mention that they allow any riffraff to move in. The smell of Marijuana and garbage reaks in the hallway . Disrespectful neighbors blast their TV and music all night and sit their garrbage out in the hallway to sit for days instead of taking to the dumpsters . Neighbors allow their kids to trash the complex. If u are looking to live in a clean upstanding and safe environment then Timber Ridge is no longer that place

I live in the pines at Q plaza and I’ve had nothing but problems. Issues with toilets and sinks overflowing, and no one answering urgent calls for over 24 hours. The cockroach infestation is disgusting. The property manager can’t be reached at any cost. So many issues and nobody takes any responsibility or cares to do anything about any problems.

Terrible because they are thieves. I have to move out and I'm a great tenant who's lived there for 2 years and has NEVER paid late. But that doesn't matter to these guys. They will rob you blind. Now that they've taken over all they try to do is steal money. If you find out your apartment is going to be managed by them run.

I’ve been a tenant with park side apartments since 10/2020. My lease is over on 10/31/23 The property manager Chaye has been aware of my decision to move to since march of this year. Every time I spoke with with her she emphasized that I needed to put in my thirty day notice whenever I was going to move out. I went into the office Friday 09/15 to give my thirty day notice and Chaye said okay. She herself said 3 times while I was in the office that it was in fact thirty days. Erica looked it up and said it was actually 60 days, and Chayes attitude about the situation was “oh well” saying that now I have to pay an extra month because of the late notice to move but she has been telling me literally all year that I had thirty days. That money is now coming out of my pocket because I was told false information. I asked if I could get a prorated amount since I was told the wrong thing all year and she really just didn’t care. I’m not happy with this situation at all. I’m flabbergasted by this whole situation. I’m being ignored by corporate. Now watch since I left them a bad review they retaliate in some type of way!
