Over the course of almost a year this company and the board they solicited from have caused deep scars to our community. Name calling individuals who had inquired about financials and transparency (per our associations bylaws). Advising the board to cease monthly meetings.

Edge lacks professionalism, empathy, and organization. These traits stood out after months of stalling, dodging our associations bylaws and avoiding the community meetings. After a new board was elected Edge took days to weeks to reply with simple items (like invoices, financials, and other pending issues affecting our community). The worse offense of these was during climate events that impacted our community. Leaving many residents to lose wages (due to inaccessibility of association roads) and placing at risk many of elderly persons that reside here. No follow up, no responsibility, and no compassion. Edge also pads their ratings with reviews from their own staff, friends, and family. See the5 star ratings posted as evidence. Review the contract Edge is abusive when it comes to their legal representation because your association is on the hook for ALL of their legal expenses. They certainly won't be transparent in their invoices even though they're using YOUR money!

Sadly, we are not the first to fall prey. There are multiple other properties whom have reported to a similar course of events. A board brings in Edge, Edge gets the board to cancel association meetings, poor services are rendered, and homeowners get sick of the status quo pushing out Edge. The associations that have cut off Edge are left in poor financial status. In one such instance Edge would not provide a contract and instead only would disclose after nondisclosure agreements were signed.

The way the staff and ownership behaves you'd think they were paying you. Expect highly defensive and deflective responses when making inquiries.

If you're looking in property management companies, RUN and don't look back. 1 star is 1 too high!

Edge has consistently fall short on their services. When you sign up with Edge expect long delays in responses, a lack of financial transparency, and ridiculous usage of legal counsel at the expense of your association. If there was the option to give 0 stars I would. Never hire Edge.

They are horrible! Our community can’t get call backs nor services done. When we complain, they have more excuses than the law should allow. I’ve been waiting since June for a service and it’s now October and it’s still not done. Our fee just was raised AGAIN and it is now $286 starting in Jan 2025. Our snow removal was none! I had to shovel my driveway and walkway this past winter with a back injury from a previous car accident. Whatever they are telling our board to get them to agree to a raise of fees is a bunch of false hopes and promises. Sad that the majority of the seniors said they’d have to move because they will no longer be able to afford the HOA fee because they keep raising it. They don’t care about the homeowners at all, it’s about money and the lies they can tell us. The MATH ISNT MATHING!!!!!!!! Stay away from them! I wish we could remove them as our property management company because they suck! And yes, I wrote this because I am sick of them and their lies about my work order! I just hope we don’t get any heavy snow because if we do, I’ll have a tree branch in my room…

Edge fails to deliver. When you sign up with Edge expect multi-day waits for any sort of response, questionable financial transparency, and ridiculous usage of an association dues for their own legal woes. If the option to give 0 stars was available I would rate them as so. Run, don't walk away, Edge.

Edge has proven to be extremely disappointing on so many levels. I am a homeowner at the Meadowbrook Townhome Association and it wasn't until a couple of months ago when I began to start questioning the financials. When I questioned Edge on a few things, they went on the defense mode right away. Our budget is a disaster-misc fees with no real explanation, etc. Edge has acted as though they are the ones in charge, when in fact, they are the ones who work FOR US. Our by-laws state that we homeowners have access to the books/statements/invoices M-F during regular business hours however, when you call them, they request you make an appointment. It has been over a month and 2 emails to them later and they have been unresponsive to me. This all is extremely suspect and as a homeowner who spends $3K/year on dues, I have a right to know where my money is going and how it's being used. Something is not right here ,..zero communication and zero transparency. They should not be in business.

In March of 2023, our board of directors hired this company, despite the concerns of several homeowners. After reading their contract, checking references and reading reviews, several of us had concerns. Over the past year we have been proven correct in our assumptions that this is an awful company.

The first thing Edge did was hold a “name your pain“ meeting. This was held at their facility, which by the way, is locked during normal business hours, so you have to make an appointment in order to get in. That in and of itself tells you something about how dissatisfied many of their customers are. At this meeting, our board sat idly by as edge ran the meeting. They gave homeowners approximately five minutes to voice, their concerns, and then they would respond. There was no back and forth. They told us that if anyone was disruptive, they would be forcibly removed from the premises. They were incredibly dismissive and condescending, and basically give no clear answers to anyone’s questions.

Over the next few months, they realized they could control our board. Realizing they didn’t want to be confronted, Edge told them they could stop holding monthly meetings which we had been doing for the last 30 years. This was the only way that most of us knew what was going on, so we were left in the dark as to what decisions were being made, and by whom. From this point forward, all meetings were held at their office and led completely by them.

Prior to our annual meeting, they informed our board (Against our bylaws) that they didn’t have to have annual elections. Our bylaws stipulate that there are from 3 to 9 members on the board and this is determined by the homeowners. They informed the board that they only had to have three members on the board and so there would be no vacancies, hence, no election. This was done in in an attempt to keep them in control by preventing potentially up to six new board members. Since that time, they have worked hard to keep control of our board up to, and including hiring an Attorney(which is paid for out of our association dues).

It’s extremely difficult to talk with anyone at their office. When you actually do get through to someone, they are condescending and dismissive. They claim to have fixed problems when indeed they haven’t. Last year when we had an awful snowstorm, it took them between three and four days to finally clear some driveways and sidewalks. We have a lot of elderly people living in this development. Had they needed to get out in case of an emergency they would’ve been stranded.

Per our bylaws, any homeowner is supposed to have access to all financial records during normal business hours Monday through Friday. They have ignored and not responded to several requests via their web portal and phone messages so that some homeowners could make an appointment and come look at invoices and the check register. It takes them an inordinate amount of time to post our monthly financials. It is almost impossible to find out how much money in addition to their monthly fee they are receiving from us.

After checking more reviews and references, this is apparently the way they operate: find a homeowners association whose board will give them full control and keep them in power by any means possible (up to an including, not allowing elections), schedule fewer meetings and make them at times when homeowners are unable to attend,

They will say that this is coming from a homeowner who was told to take down a birdfeeder. This is false. They are manipulative and unscrupulous. Short of a lawsuit, it is impossible to regain control. Do not hire them.

Edge has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. I’ve spoken to several members of their team, and they were all super nice and knowledgeable.

Have written multiple emails and called regarding some concerns in our neighborhood and have not received a response from anyone at this company. I’m not sure why this “property management” is in existence and requires yearly dues.
So, with that, are you hiring? Because I have been looking for a job where I don’t have to do anything to get paid. Thanks!
