Brokerage company they work with isn't transparent about units they are showing, and when you rent, there are loopholes they try to get past (advertised our unit had laundry in unit and did not). They said that it meant we could bring our own laundry machine as there was an attachment.

When requesting for support in regards to maintenance, the live-in super is very unprofessional, closes the tickets without fixing the unit issues, and does not adhere to the times requested. Management has been notified about this but has not remedied the issues, so there are tickets that are not actually fixed.

There also needs to be a more secure way of receiving packages as the building experiences theft. They do not give the door codes out to tenants which makes it difficult to ensure safe deliveries.

Two reasons why I didn't tank their review:

I would however like to shout out Jonathan, one of the maintenance employees, as he always does the job perfectly! He is very professional, kind, and cleans up thoroughly after doing the job and always offers helpful advice on future maintenance.

Lived in the Cook location for more than 4 years. They honored my rent increase percentage from their covid rent pricing. Staff who works for management's response time (via email) is relatively quick.

Goose Property Management has been a generally reliable service with a user-friendly platform and clear, professional communication. They handle most aspects of property management well, making interactions smooth and efficient.

However, I did encounter an issue when receiving furniture. Despite booking an elevator in advance and securing the required Certificate of Insurance, my delivery professionals had to wait 30 minutes for clearance due to internal miscommunication. This delay nearly resulted in my furniture not being delivered that day.

While there is room for improvement in coordination, my overall experience has been positive, and I appreciate their efforts in managing the property effectively.

I love living here! My girlfriend and I have now been living here for a few years. What originally caught my eye was how modern everything is in this building. My favorite part about living here are all of the wonderful amenities, such as the basketball court, rooftop, gym, etc. The staff are always so nice too! I enjoy the convenient location as well, as it is extremely walkable to several stores (including a Target and Trader Joe’s!) Anyone would be lucky to live here.

I’ve lived in one of their buildings for over a year and a half and, despite running into a couple of issues, the quick response to resolve the issues have been good. They stay on top of making the building is clean, machines running smoothly (laundry), and I’m pleased with the building super being so sufficient. Even when I moved, they were timely with their responses and clear with instructions. I appreciate their service thus far!

If you're considering renting in this building, be aware of significant management issues. When I signed my lease, the building was advertised as having full doorman services and a package attendant—only to find out these services were removed shortly after signing.

The lease agreement allows management to change amenities at any time, but they will not adjust the rent accordingly. This means you're paying for features that may no longer exist.

Additionally, ongoing construction in the lobby has caused strong fumes to linger in the building for days at a time, making the environment unpleasant. The lack of automatic doors also means there is no handicap accessibility, which is unacceptable for a modern building.

Goose Management, which oversees the property, abruptly terminated multiple staff members when we first moved in and failed to provide clear communication to residents.

This building has potential, but poor management is cutting corners at the tenants' expense. Until they prioritize residents' needs and maintain the promised amenities, I cannot recommend renting here.

I’ve been living in one of goose property managed buildings for awhile now. I always appreciate their prompt response to our email/maintenance request in the unit. Love their resident portal as well. It’s so easy to use. Doormen are all so nice and helpful. My only complaint is half the laundry machines are always broken/not working.
