I found the system very hard to read compared to other payroll companies. It’s not at all user friendly. It added many hours to my payroll work. I was complaining for the entire year how hard this system is compared to other payroll companies and GMS said if I didn’t like it I could leave. So I did! They figured out I was leaving and took 2500.00 out of my bank account for not finishing my year contract. They took the money Nov 29th. My contract was over in Dec 1st. I never told them I was leaving. They just decided to shut my access down. I still have information I need. It’s going to be a nightmare getting my tax information. You will have many people to deal with and it’s a revolving door so they are always changing. We called a person we thought worked there and she did help us but she had moved to Paychex. She admitted it was a bad system. I guess they must need the 2500 more than me.

Our experience with GMS has been great. They have already helped us through a difficult HR situation in the first months. On-boarding was very smooth and they continually work to audit, guide, and support us to become fully compliant in many back office areas. We are grateful to have them on our team!

I don't know where to start, it's often impossible to get ahold of anyone at this company, myself and many others have several HR issues that are improperly handled, when we receive a response at all. I and at least 5 other people in my department have been trying to get insurance for over 2 years, but every time we apply, we're told that we filled out the wrong forms, were on the wrong portal, and many other excuses, until we're then dismissively told that we missed the deadline for open enrollment. My friend and coworker has been badly hurt twice, while at work, refused to pay the medical bills, and then write reports making him the problem. Currently looking for a new job, hopefully I can talk my co-workers into coming with me, I feer for there wellness.

Exceptional service from our team of Jenn (HR), Andrea (Payroll), Aaron (Safety), Julie & Molly (Benefits) & Dani (Workers Comp). A manufacturing facility with multiple locations, both our HR Manager and Safety Manager suddenly retired. We immediately contacted our GMS Sales Representative, Matt and began our PEO relationship with GMS a year and a half ago. GMS has provided us with the professional HR services we need to manage our staff and their benefits at a reasonable cost. Jenn is always available to discuss any HR concerns with our management staff as well as our employees. We would be lost without their expertise. They take their time with the patient and allow family members in on the visits if you have any questions concerning your loved ones that are going through things as they get up in their senior age.
