We absolutely loved working with Shelly! Shelly has a heart of gold and truly cares about all of the high-schoolers she is working with. Shelly is passionate about what she does and that is reflected in the amazing job she does with her students! She is meticulous about staying up to date on the college trends and specifics for each college. Each year brings something new to the application process, but Shelly is always prepared. And the best is that Shelly “gets” teenagers, she earns their trust, asks the right questions about their futures and helps them find their path to the perfect school! And she cares deeply about each client she works with! Hiring Shelly to work with our son was one of the smartest parenting moves we have ever made. Like many other parents, we thought our son's amazing test scores, exceptional GPA and high school accomplishments were all that was needed but that is not how college works anymore. Shelly enlightened us and worked directly with our son through the application process, the essay process, choosing his list and making his final choice. He is thriving at college and in a program that is ideal for him....and he got some scholarships to boot.

Shelly is fantastic! Our son just completed his college application odyssey with Shelly. He was accepted to many excellent schools: Rice University, Kelly School of Business at IU, Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame, and many others. In the end, he chose to attend Dyson at Cornell University which just happens to have the lowest acceptance rate of any business school in America (yup, even lower than Wharton). Shelly kept him motivated and organized throughout the process. Indeed, we enjoyed working with her as parents as well. She is great at identifying what counts and what does not and was flexible when our son pivoted from studying engineering to studying business. Most importantly, our son LIKED Shelly and found her to be helpful and not intimidating. She is quite funny, which plays well with teens. Thank you, Shelly!

Shelley is wonderful. While easy to connect with and fun to talk to, she holds vast knowledge about colleges and universities as well as about the application process. My son was able to feel inspired and motivated by Shelley to dive fully into the college process. He found a great University, got in and is thrilled. I don’t know what I’d do without Shelly!! I know very little about colleges or the process of applying. As an only parent of four teens, college searches just felt overwhelming until I met Shelly. She helped navigate my oldest son who just graduated high school and is off to college in the fall. And now she is helping my daughter who will be a senior this fall.
