FIRST: The on-site staff and the maintenance crew are excellent!
However, it's obviously clear that the suits up in Carmel don't care about these properties. They reduced services and cut office hours as if it were a bonus for those of us who live here. I've lived here almost 7 years. It's billed as a luxury apartment complex. Every year my rent goes up by at least $100. But there are never any improvements to the facilities. In fact, things are just falling apart and it's gotten to the point where I'm going to have to call the city inspector, because the corporate up in Carmel does not care. They are all about money. So here's some photos of this luxury apartment complex. These photos were taken the last couple of days but it's been like this for at least 6 weeks. IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING LIVING HERE, I WOULD SUGGEST YOU NEGOTIATE YOUR LEASE DOWN. BECAUSE WHAT THEY'RE SELLING YOU IS NOT WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO GET. Just show them the pictures. If you would like to get some more I can send them as well.

This company is absolutely awful to tenants. I live in Union Green and the management just does not care about you at all. I’ve been trying to resolve an issue they caused (that cost me several hundred dollars) for about 3 weeks, and no one responds in a timely manner. I was getting nowhere with the building manager, who eventually told me that because they caused the same issue for multiple tenants, they “had to be fair” by not doing anything to rectify the situation. So instead of owning up to their failures and making it up to all of us, they instead are saying they won’t help any of us, which makes no sense. So I tried reaching out to the regional manager (Deb Gardner), who brushed me off completely, and then after I sent multiple emails, told me that she has other properties she manages, and would maybe get back to me when it’s convenient for her. It seems that actually dealing with tenant issues is beneath her, so right now I’m just out the money they screwed me out of, and still have to be paying their absolutely ridiculous rent prices. Don’t let their fake friendliness and air of professionalism convince you it’s a good place to live, because as soon as you’ve signed your lease that all goes out the window. I’ve lived in 4 other apartments previously and have never dealt with a company who is this awful to deal with.

Unfortunately, I could no longer consider using this company for our multiple apartment complexes due to a disgusting display of professionalism (or lack thereof) by JC Hart on LinkedIn.

Sparks Apartments and its parent company J.C. Hart Company are crooks! I applied for an apartment for this community and was declined (now I am so glad). I was told the $200 would be refunded if my application was denied and the $50 application fee would not be. Well, it has been over a month and this company refuses to refund my $200. Why is so hard? It should have been refunded to my card in the manner they received it, but they said they would cut me a check. I have emailed, called, and provided an address (which they claimed they did not have, even though it was on my application), yet I still have not received my $200.

Now, I have to pay $89 to file a small claims to get my refund.

Run from this apartment community/company. I can only imagine how hard it would be getting a security deposit back.

I lived in Ivy Town for 3.5 years, and never ever caused any issue for management. I was single at a time and worked all day and rarely had a guest. I always have kept my apartments (I have been in at least 6 rentals) super clean and never had a case that management does not refund my deposit. Funny enough, the J.C. HART decided that my super-clean apartment needs “odor treatment” (No I did not have pet), and take all my deposit (to be fair, they issued a 3.5$ check for rest of my deposit). I highly recommend, avoiding J.C. HART, because it seems like it is about taking money from tenants as much as they can.

Jc Hart is a very prejudiced company if you’re not Caucasian, you get disrespectful. How this company can get away with this…. I have no idea someone needs to investigate this company. if you’re not Caucasian, do not rent from this company, STAY AWAY or you will be totally put to SHAME.. and disrespectful.
Case in point..one Jc Hart employee made reference to me that he have a Lot of white sheets on his bed.

My husband and I rented from Stonebridge apartments on the south side of Indianapolis for almost three years. We were really happy with renting from them until recently. The move out inspection was cancelled 15 min before hand when we were moving cross country that day. They stated it was "against policy" when asked to provide said policy, they could not provide any documentation and were very resistant.
Specifically Jennifer Binder, the manager at that location has been extremely unprofessional and when asked to speak to her supervisor, will not provide the information.
They also charged unfair and inconsistent items on the final statement that were never mentioned in the move out inspection!
Also, they violated their own contract by not providing the final bill within the stated 45 days.
We don't want what happened to us to happen to others renting there!
