I am a honest and respectful person who has only used Airbnb 2 times. When I arrived, the unit was very dirty and smelled of old soiled furniture. I worked with the host, Patrick Manley, purchasing items to get the unit up to a livable standard under the agreement I would be reimbursed. After numerous attempts to resolve issues related to years of neglect (+20 yr old dishwasher, +25 yr old ac unit, bug issues, urine stained mattress topper, broken bed and blinds, soiled furniture & housekeeping issues that would blow your mind) with the host, I decided to leave my reservation early due to suspicion the owner had entered the unit when I was at work. Despite documenting all interactions through Airbnb, having photos time stamped of everything that occurred, and messages that clearly stated he had been inside the unit without my knowledge, I was never reimbursed for the money I spent on repairs or the remaining time left on my reservation. If you are considering using this company for any service, I highly recommend finding someone who conducts business in a more professional and ethical manner.
