If I can give a zero star I would. There is a flood in my mother in laws apartment. She contacted her landlord and he told her to stop calling him. She contacted 311 and they sent over the fire department and they stated there is pipe that burst in the wall and there is nothing they can do. We contacted the maintenance department of her building and selected the option of it’s an emergency outside of business hours select this option. We ended up speaking to someone who stated they don’t see her account and her name or number can’t be located to create a work order. Mind you , she has been living there for over 15 years. So he said to call the number and press zero. I did what he said and that option was invalid . When I tried to call the maintenance back for the emergency option, an automated message states this number is not available for emergency maintenance to contact your property manager. Wow!!! So nagar management not only dismissed my mother in law by lying about her account not being found , the superintendent and landlord of the building told her stop calling him. Mind you , her walls and light fixtures are being flooded with water making it dangerous for her to live there.

We had a really great experience with Nager Management. Max was communicative and flexible, and very warm toward our family. The apartment itself was very well kept as well - we loved living there. All of the contractors we worked with on small repairs were also very professional and responsive and clearly in good communication with Max and his team.

Max was a great landlord & neighbor. Responsive to anything we needed & fair, fast with dealing with repairs that came up. I really appreciated that it was super simple & easy to pay rent & put in repair requests online. I loved my apartment & stayed in the building for 4 years!

I lived in a Nager Management building for a year. The building was well maintained, management was responsive to maintenance requests, my super was extremely efficient/handy, and Max was a kind and communicative landlord throughout. Would have stayed in the unit significantly longer, but decided to move in with my partner and chose to find a larger apartment.

When moving out, I referred my friend into my unit and have sent other people Nager Management's way because of the positive experience. 10/10 would rent from them again.

Max was my landlord for almost 10 years before I left NYC. They utilize an online portal to pay rent and request service which I found great. The building was old, so emergency maintenance was sometimes a thing, but no serious issues ever came up and things were dealt with swiftly.

Easy 1 star. Sr management recently sold the building BUT they left plenty of gifts for the new managers. Currently there are 4 dead rats outside and the floors haven’t been swept or mopped since Q2. Had a mouse problem that I had to pay for out of pocket and any repairs this year were done by me. Thank you for the handyman special!

I lived in my apartment for almost two years (had to move out of NYC due to extenuating circumstances) and Max facilitated a really easy transition for me. In addition, he was a very responsive landlord and was always sure to get back to me with any questions I had.

Trash company bought a building and bed Stuy and let it fall apart into despair has caused issues with other tenants and homeowners
