I live at Santa clara in oskaloosa! They are slum lords and money hungry. I have pictures of buildings falling apart. Nothing works in my apartment. It is a fire hazard and pure negligence. They are trying to evict my best friend and I for dirty appliances and clutter. She has 2 kids. The building connected to hers is falling in. They won't fix nothing but want that money. They charge you more for rent then what your checks even are. They Forge documents saying they gave you the utility check when they didn't. This is the worsed place ever. So bad that 5 of us already have been talking to lawyers.

I have been living at Lyn Circle for a few months and wanted to share how much I appreciate and enjoy the staff. The snow and ice and parking lot is always clear and neat practically immediately after it snowed each time. And when I moved in, Heather and the maintenance staff did everything in their power to help and assist and make me feel welcome. Heather had even driven across town on her day off to pick up paperwork from me that had been delayed due to whatever circumstance. I think these negative reviews should be ignored as they don't seem accurate to me...

A small step up from being homeless. Managers bully elderly and disabled residents. People who have nowhere else to turn. Stoves, showers, air conditioners, and more are left in disrepair for a month or more and residents are expected to live without them. Managers will tell residents other residents have complained about them or stolen items from buildings, even if nothing was ever said. Residents are given little or no notice for "inspections" which have started to occur monthly instead of the stated twice a year in the leases. If you can go anywhere else do that and run as far as possible from National Management.

These people steal government money and put it in their pockets. The apartments are horrid!!! I can't believe they are still allowed to rent to anyone! Manager, or so she calls her self Debbie is a moron. She has no clue what she is doing. Pretty sure she is on drugs! My dog could do that job better than she ever could! These people need to be shut down!!!

They will not help the elderly. Eviction notice given of three days to an 84 year old man who said he had proof that he paid his rent. They won't do repairs, won't fix washing machines, won't clean, and hang up on you if you call with a problem.

I was just in trying to talk to the manager of good life in Norwalk where I live in number 25, I wanted to know if there has been an original found of my "reinstatement" of March this year. Of which I did not sit down with who ever she was and sign anything, I just want to pay the extra amount of owe from $230 to $257 from the time I did sit down and reinstate with Gina, She is insisting I was reinstated on March 1st. and Had I been told that my rent went up $27 then why wouldnt I have just paid it. I kept my rent paid up until July when I was going through a rough patch. Gina claims she has done nothing but try to help me, And today when I went into speak to her all she would say is Im not going to argue with you and she claimed I was threatening her. No I wasnt , I simply want proof of this so called reinstatement from March, I did not once threaten her. And she said she was officially closed and she didnt appreciate me coming in there at that time, I thought she was suppose to be here every Tue, and Thur. Most of the time she isnt even here and if she is, she leaves by noon. How is anyone suppose to talk to you people if no one is around or wont answer your phones. She did finely piss me off, As for one, I dont even have a voice today because of my disibility, Dystonia, So I was whispering. And I was threatening her I did leave and told her I would turn her in, So she followed me on my way out asking for what, for trying to help you? So I turned around and did get in her face, still whispering of course, And then that was another threat, She followed me. I was leaving. Just tell me why I wouldnt have just paid the amount I was suppose to have been recertified for if I had known, I DID NOT KNOW,!!!!!!

Elderly abuse comes in all forms. The elderly should not be afraid of the community manager on a daily basis. There needs to be some in depth training take place inside this organization, educating the managers on the proper etiquette of working with other human beings in a polite society. Enlisting fear as a practice of controlling others was put to bed prior to WWII.

It's definitely not a place if you living at Hickory Grove Apartment when you paying rent and no service coming from the maintenance department saying that your apartment ain't clean it doesn't matter if paying rent their jobs it fix whatever needed to be fixed I know how to report it to the city inspector I'm close of doing so ..
