I've lived with you guys for three months with the Win residents and had the worst experience, first getting taken advantage of rent wise (on their site it states $699-750 a month for a one bedroom.) while I pay 1,069 for a one bedroom, and don't get me started on how TERRIBLE their communication skills are either, it took me until 12 days until my lease ends to get a renewal for a two bedroom that they wanna cost me $1,069 to rent while people I know that live here with the same two bedroom apartment with all the amenities pay $800. The mental stress they caused me is unreal and so is how they take advantage of their tenants l've contacted them multiple times to see about resolving everything but yet got ignored until 10days of my lease termination and better yet they want to charge me 1,320.50 for my last month here. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone especially if you’re young like me, im 19 years old. And I got screwed over by these apartments.

I have been renting from them since September of 2022. I have created several work orders, literally several. I had a crack in my tub and took months for repairs. It took me threatening to contact the actual owner of park place town homes for them to respond quickly in regards to the tub. I have a rotten deck that is unusable and unsafe. They just canceled my work order. I have a tack strip exposed that transitions to tile. They attempted to repair once, never resolved. Submitted a work order again. Canceled. I have formica that is bubbled up and falling off. Canceled. They seem to not give an ounce of care towards what they manage. Absolutely the worst management company in this town. OH, but they sure want to raise rent every single chance they get. Don't be fooled by their recent 5-star reviews.... it's easy to tell friends of friends to leave good reviews.... I have inquiries filed about updates. Maybe this terrible review will make them care a tab more about their tenants....

I have been a commercial space lessee of Petra for two and one half years. My experience has been excellent. The building is well maintained both inside and out. The staff has been responsive and helpful. Most of all they have a genuine interest in helping my business. It has turned out to be a great decision for KAGW TV 26 to work with Petra.

We were commercial tenants from 2020-2023 and we did not have the best experience with them. We would not recommend renting from Petra - neither commercially or residentially.

From 2020-2023, the company changed it's names THREE times, and I have worked with FOUR different commercial representatives, (some without notice that we had a new representative).

Let me preface this next part by saying Petra bills utilities and services based on an average charged in the previous year, and rectifies any differences in February. So for example, What we're charged in utilities in 2023 is an average of the utilities from 2022.

Our issues began when our second rep contacted us and told us we owed $1400 in late fees and unpaid utilities from 2020. While it was stated in our lease that utilities will be charged in normal billing cycle, we were not told it would be a separate charge from the rent. This lead to another debate with our second rep because our first rep was supposed to be billing us for utilities but they were not, so we were being blamed for something that was not on our radar or in our control at the time.

Upon a couple phone calls with the second rep, we first negotiated a deal to go ahead and pay the $1400 in utility charges, then set up payments to repay 2020 utilities for the remainder of 2021. This was until the rep backpedalled and decided to charge for ALL of 2020 even though we moved in late June of 2020 - so we were being charged for utilities that we did not use. (Our current rep has been working on rectifying this for us, but we're told they're now in charge of multiple divisions on Petra and are swamped with issues...no surprise there.)

This was when I found out how Petra charges and figures out utility reconciliations. The main factor that I don't like about this process is how we are never shown a bill or anything, normally just an excel sheet with calculations on, so there's no knowing if the numbers are accurate.

There have also been multiple occasions where major building maintenance occurs and we're not made aware of it. For example, as I am writing this, our shared restrooms have been out of commission for nearly a month and we have received zero communication in terms of them being closed, the reason, or even an estimate of when they'll be back open. Not only is this concerning for us tenants since we are charged for maintenance, janitorial and sewer/water, but it's frustrating our clients as well as we work with children and our clients have to take their children elsewhere before coming to us.

Avoid PETRA if at all possible.

VALLEY VIEW APARTMENTS

Offers affordable apartments. Customer service is always responsive. Haven’t had an issue with management and I don’t believe I will. The lodge west apartments are affordable and close access to Kellogg.
