If your looking for a company in the heart of a beautiful town you dont have to look further.. Ashley was 100% fabulous with communication, ALL my questions even repeated ones, kept it peaceful calmn and informative. Ashley toured me more than once for my peace of mind, helped and guided me step by step to get me into a new home… she also listened to my entire background to understand me and create a trustable start . I went to look at a house wanted the house, filled out the application paid application fee everything was approved sweet. Comes time to pay the deposit, they hike the deposit up 2x telling me my credit score was low which was a lie my credit is over 600. I showed them my credit and was told it doesn't matter what my original credit score says which is from my bank, they told me they have to go by the company they use to run your credit score. Absolutely not I wasn't haven it the dang on deposit was more than the rent that right there pissed me off almost lost my apartment that I'm in now cause I already gave them my 30 days thank goodness they didn't process the paperwork yet or me and my kids would of homeless. So with that being said that was a red flag for me and I'm good go pull that with another sucker but not me.

Been very impressed with both the Service and level of commitment PMI Iowa has towards their clients (H.O.A’s). Customer Service is very important to me personally and it was an easy choice for me to connect with PMI. Both Chris and Hannah along with the office staff are very strong with their commitment and are just Good People!!

Beware of roaches!!! I was supposed to rent a 2-bed in west Des Moines from this company. I toured it about a month or two before moving in and everything was good. PMI emailed me at 6pm the night before I was supposed to move in and said they found “a” roach but they put traps down, yada, yada. I go there in the morning to check the situation out… it’s INFESTED with roaches. Mind you I have to be out of my current apartment that same day and so I tell them that they need to find me somewhere else to live. They eventually found me somewhere later that evening but god damn the whole situation was so stressful and messed up!!!!

Just moved out of a town home managed by PMI Central Iowa outside of downtown Des Moines and the overall experience was good! The home was newly built, so we really enjoyed being there. Maintenence issues were easy to file and their responses were prompt. They just recently switched to this app called Rentvine and messaging them on there was very convenient. Process to move in was good, Tim was able to do a virtual walk through when we were unable to view the property in person knowing that we lived out of state. We qualified for the deposit free program with Obligo, so no security deposit was put down and we just paid the $100 initial and $15 monthly fee. Better than full payment in the beginning. Moving out was okay, they re-listed the property in the last 2 weeks before we moved out and had prospective renters come in and view the place the weekend we were cleaning. Our stuff was all over the place because we were in the middle of moving and I feel like as a future tenant, I'd want to view it with no one else there. Other than that, it was a good experience overall. Tim went out of his way to mail me some things that got delivered to the property after we moved out, so that goes to show they care about their residents.

Chris and his team take great care of communities and know how to handle any situation that arises. These guys take care of everything and are a great partner for an HOA board that doesn't want to hassle with the day to day management. I can't say enough good things about them and how easy they make this for you.
