I've been living here for a couple of months and I love how everything is near by and neighbors are super friendly. The lady who helped me sign my lease is so nice and helps me with whatever questions I have. Also the aesthetic of the apartments is just what I was looking for and the price was reasonable.

If I could give zero stars I would.

I truly don’t like to complain and try to find the good in whatever situation, but I mean it when I say DO NOT RENT FROM POINT GAURD. If I was financially able to leave I would do it in a heartbeat. The property was neglected for months which led to trash build up and excessive overgrowth of weeds. It got to a point where they grew over the rocks surrounding the front/back doors. With the rocks not being visible due to the property neglect, I didn’t even realize they were even there and severely rolled my ankle. I had to even cut a pathway with my own kitchen tools to be able to access the stairs to the parking lot.

I had sent emails regarding these issues and was told maintenance comes once a week, but if they did the property wouldn’t be in the state that it is.

THEY LIE ABOUT RENT
I was informed for months that a renovated one bed one bath was $895 and had set up a game plan with my leasing consultant to upgrade from a studio. That was something we had sorted out for MONTHS. Just a couple weeks after, I was informed by someone completely new that it would now be $995 on top of other additional fees and that they would be refusing to honor the price they had advertised and strung me a long with. There was absolutely no help or flexibility after sending them the emails from my previous leasing consultant showing the rate we had set up for me to upgrade with.

TRASHED UNITS
When viewing apartments on the same property, they didn’t match any of the listings on the website. They looked entirely different, they were run down and dirty and had broken appliances/doors.

Save your time and money, this company is absolutely not worth wasting it on

I have rented an apartment from your Fort Worth location for the last year. Since I moved in it has been one problem after another. Maintenance is constantly here yet they rarely fix anything. None of the maintenance staff speak English so they have to call someone to translate for them. The lady on the phone often says she’s too busy for this or just has an attitude. The walk paths are overgrown so you have to swat bushes and trees out of your way just to get to your apartment. The paths that aren’t overgrown are covered in mud and constantly ruining your shoes. You’re promised certain amenities when you move in however, they are not available. Trash service was supposed to be twice a week where they would pick your garbage up from outside your door and take it out. They now charge $10 per trash bag that they have to take out. This has lead to tenants just dumping their garbage in walkways it’s disgusting. We were promised access to a laundry room. It was out of order for the first 4 months I lived here. Then when it was fixed only 2 washers worked. Then it has been closed again for the last 2 months and was just reopened. We where promised access to a gym facility yet there is no access to it due to “renovations” a year for renovation is excessive. We do have access to the pool but it is always extremely dirty it gets cleaned about one time a week which is not enough for the amount of people who swim in it. Also since living here my hot water has constantly been off due to boiler issues. I went without hot water for 3 months then they will “fix it” and you’ll have barely warm water for a week and then no hot water again. The last two months we have consistently had warm water which is the longest amount of time we have had it uninterrupted while living here. They will also shut your water and electricity off for hours at a time with no warning due to maintenance. I have asked repeatedly for warning so I can plan to be somewhere else while there is no electricity however, they just ignore this and continue to do it.

I’ve lived at Stoney brook apartments for almost 9 years. I haven’t had any problems and if there were any I was sure to call and they came out asap. Affordable apartments in a quiet neighborhood!

The staff at Point Guard Management are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to assist with any questions or concerns.

I live at the Carter apartments and I’ve never had complaints on Point Guard themselves or my unit. Maintenance is very quick and good with their work and the people are very nice. The apartments are well kept up and the neighborhood is very quiet and nice. The rent and utilities are also very cheap and affordable. I’ve been here for three years and don’t have any plans moving anytime soon.

So far since moving in about a month ago I have really enjoyed the apartment and the style of it. And I do like the easy access for certain features on their mobile app to schedule appointments for stuff like maintenance. My experience with the staff at point guard management was very friendly and professional. I would say the only issue that I have is when I called directly I have to usually leave a voicemail and waiting for a call back or response about something that I might have a question about or concern. But other than that everything else is absolutely awesome.

I have lived at Park Place Apartments in Manhattan Ks for three years. The staff here have always been very responsive and helpful. The current maintenance man is very prompt knowledgeable. He's great. I love the new doors but it was quite a process getting them installed properly. I am retired and have found that it is quiet here which I appreciate a great deal. I feel very much at home here.
