This has got to be the worst company I have ever worked with in my life. Been trying to get an issues resolved for a month because they decided to not use any of the pharmacies I use, but wanted me to use theirs. And that's fine, after 2 years of using their chosen mail-order pharmacy, they decided to scrap them and told no one. When I called they gave me another pharmacy to work with, so I sent the information to my doctor, and he sent the rx. The pharmacy said that it was denied and then when i called proact again they said we need a prior auth because the medication is in the thousands, which is fine, but you would think someone would tell me. The Dr sent it over and now they said the prior auth is locked and they dont know why. They also told me now I have to pay for 50% of the medication when there was no cost at the pharmacy before. Avoid at all costs, this company and their customer service should not be in business.

Absolutely horrible company. If I had the power with my company to get away from them and find another benefit manager I would.
Their customer service is terrible. I received a letter in October that my current prescription would no longer be covered as of July 1, 2025. Ok, great, no problem I go to the doctor again in March so I will work on the switch then. Fast forward to the end of December. I realize I never had my prescription filled. On December 27th I contact them and they say “your prescription is out of network as of January 1.
Ok first of all, it’s still December.. FILL THE PRESCRIPTION!! 2nd of all apparently the letter I received stating July 1st was garbage because they refused to honor that and didn’t believe me even though I offered to scan the letter to them. So I end up scrambling to have the new prescription sent. Contacted my doctor and he called the new script in right away. Prescription was FINALLY filled and shipped to me (two weeks after I was due for it)
Fast forward to today… I realized that I never received the text to refill yet again. I contact them.. they tell me I need a prior authorization. Seriously?!? This was filled once already… why was it not required then?
It’s a good thing my prescription is not a life or death need because I probably would have died by now.
If you are forced to use this company for your pharmacy benefits, run away as fast as you can.

A week or so ago I had to call and inquire about a prior authorization. I spoke with a lady by the name of Courtney H, and she was so helpful and professional. I was a bit frustrated to say the least, but her kindness and patience in explaining what was going on was so appreciated and unexpected. She is definitely an asset to this company. Thanks, Courtney!

Honestly, words cant even describe how stressful, incompetent, and down right cruel this company is. You can read all of the one star reviews here and how we wish we could give less than 1 star. I left a review 2 years ago and nothing has changed. Staff has now provided two different EOCs to check the status of the PA and both show no information. The PA causing delays to maintenance medication is abhorrent - medication that I've been on for the past year and a half with no changes to dose or quantity. I'll spend the holidays wondering if my medications will even be "approved" for me to take because obviously insurance knows more about medicine then our providers who have been treating us.

Negative stars would be generous. I have spent countless hours calling to fix my coverage issues and each time a problem is fixed another two present themselves. Report them to DFS and anyone else you can!

ZERO STARS only leaving one due to the need to give a rating. Horrible customer service. Their online portion and the web site is terrible. Had too jump through many hoops just to create and online account then after several tries and a couple of phone calls got to a person who said they could send me a link to change my password but they tried too many times and now I had to wait two hours before trying a re-set. The got a message said it could be up to 24 business hours to re-set. After a few days still nothing so I sent another email and got the reply they will check it and it could be 24 hours until they respond. Waiting for my meds and was told they didnt have any of my information to send it out but the woman on the phone repeated all of the crucial info such as my cell and cc number so I guess they did have it after all.
Lousy customer service!!!

Worst prescription management company for sure. They don't care about the customers. They just want to deny and delay the medication for their customers so that they can earn money. I am sure they have the competition to see who deny covering prescriptions most. Please please please shut down your business for better sake!!!!!!!!

If I could I would give zero stars. I came into this week with an already bad experience of this pharmacy benefit company forcing medications into mail order when attempting to refill at the pharmacy- meaning I already had no supply left. Had to get an emergency approval for a 30 day supply in order to get everything transferred over to PROACTS Mail order program.
So when I was diagnosed with pneumonia and proact forced one of my medications to receive prior auth, that IS ON the covered RX list and NOT on the 2024 published prior auth list- I found myself again having to take extra steps to get a medication that was needed asap. 2 days after prior authorization was submitted I called proact for an update of status only to get told this medication will take 7-10 business days to approve. 7 to 10 days.. so the rep submitted an urgent request for completion which means it will take at least 3 days instead. A total of 5+ days for a medication my doctor prescribed due to symptoms of pneumonia. What a pointless insurance provider. ZERO stars. Do better for the people you serve.
