If I could give zero, I would. There are so many words I could use for how they treated my roomate and I, but they are not kind. Black mold in AC vents that they denied and never fixed. Our shower and kitchen were literally falling apart. We had rats, we had squatters next door, we had package theft, and they had no time to pick up calls, answer emails, or help us in any way. It was a dump and they forced us to stay in our lease. I didn’t feel safe living there. A few of these were the next door unit, and others in my own apartment. They didn’t even give us the apt we had signed on because they gave it to someone else before we moved in 2 weeks before class. Yes it may have been the place, but PMT had no time or care to fix anything. Oh, and a $500 limit on what they could fix in the apartment. When the handyman came, he had to politely tell us that most of it he wasn’t able to fix because it went way above the $500 limit and he was only one guy with other tenants to help. And they never gave our deposit back after hiring a cleaning crew when we moved out, as per the lease’s requirement.

PMT is one of the most scummy management companies you could ever rent from. Maintenance requests are repeatedly ignored, the maintenance team ghosts you after saying they "need to grab a part" and never return, and all of the "repairs" are band-aid fixes that end up needing fixed again in a month.

PMT has also been informed of a serious issue with a neighbor threatening, harassing, and damaging our personal property and have intentionally remained passive throughout the whole ordeal of working with the police and social services. PMT has received photo & video evidence of all the ways this individual has violated the codes of conduct in the community we live in, have acknowledged our concerns via email and phone, but have never followed up or attempted to intervene at any time despite APD telling us that is it PMT's responsibility to ensure the members of its community are safe and complying with the codes of conduct.

PMT had my car towed while parked in my son’s spot which I PAY FOR. We were moving him out so we weren’t there long. There were literally two cars in the whole lot since everyone had already moved out for the semester and they still towed me. The office was closed even though google listed it as open 9a-5p. PMT should focus on cleaning up the mountains of trash and broken mirrors outside their properties rather than towing cars from empty lots.

Worst property management in existence. I had a faulty breaker and it took them weeks to fix it in the freezing cold and they never paid me for the inconvenience of losing all my groceries, not only that but John Firnhaber screamed at me in my face when I dared complain to him. Kaylee and John are both impossible to reach when you do have an issue. They stole my deposit (because of course they did.) Truly evil people.

SCAMMERS AND SHADY MANAGEMENT. I had so many issues with PMT. After signing a lease they tried to coerce my roommate and me into signing the "correct" lease for more money. They also charged us outrageous amounts (and refused to show documentation after we asked multiple times) for our utility bills. It's evident they try to take advantage of college students in the area. My roommate and I used Texas Law resources to help us defend our rights. Wouldn't recommend PMT unless you have to lease from them.

I signed the lease and was about to move into 1601 Enfield Rd, Unit 5 (upper left corner). As I was filling out the condition report, I found black mold in the HVAC closet. The owner John had a reputable company come quote the work to clean the it, but then wasn't willing to pay to have it fixed. The company was able to confirm that the mold was due to a poorly sealed hvac unit and the mold is in the fiber glass air ducts. His solution was to have his handy man spray Kilz "as far as he could reach". John offered to void my lease and gave me my rent and deposit back in full. I wish I could have lived here because the unit looks cute overall and its in a great location, but it's not worth the health risk. Renter beware.

1/25 UPDATE: Scott retired and Misti took over his job, Thank God. She has been amazing, a real get-er-done pistol. She's a very professional smart lady, always available, involved, fair, kind and reliable, just a good person!
I would recommend her to anyone.

My PAST review: I miss our old management company, it was excellent. Always available, kind and understanding, and responsive.
Good management SHOULD listen to people's concerns and address them, the goal being to find common ground, resolve issues, be available, take care of tenants, see that everyone, even HOA board folks are all follow the same rules, no exceptions, discrimination or bullying.
And, work requests take months now with no follow up.
This is not good management, Scott is highly emotional, unprofessional, defensive, abrasive, uncaring, inflexible and difficult to communicate with.
He can't even structure a grammatically correct professional email like
"Hello Mr ---- , I understand your concerns....."
it is more like an angry vomit of excuses with avoidance of actual concerns .
Go back to college and take some courses in management and communication. You failed.

Bad attitudes, bad leasing agent, bad everything else. Showed up at the office on a day they were supposed to be open (friday, open all day) and alas! They were not. No email about it either which is awesome. Decided to show up and had to practically corner a gentleman named John to ask him why I called the emergency line 7 times and no one answered. Why was I calling? My apartment was broken into while my roommate was home. Johns reaction? Did that happen, seriously? Woah. Glad her boyfriend was there. Uh wow. Yea that sucks. Did that happen? I guess we can put a new lock on the door. That guy really cares about his tenants! Also if you love waking up to roaches in your hair, definitely sign a lease for unit 15 at the San Pedro Square property. Lol. Lmfao, even.
