If I could put 0 stars I would. I try to be patient I really do! I worked several call center job over the years and understand it's not about the individuals making the calls it's the company’s approach. The callers never seem to be trained or have accurate information about the accounts. I am a teacher who was granted school debt relief due to accepting a job in a title 1 school, I have received several notices from the FSA showing my forgiveness increments and my account statements and status (literally monthly). The account they have been calling about was documented as paid and closed 3 years ago. I explained this to multiple callers, I faxed the documents to them, I even sent a registered letter as per their request and they still call me 5-10 times a week through an automated dialer 50% of the time they say they will transfer me to an agent but the call gets disconnected. I have reached out to Lemberg Law who is in the process of requesting call logs, and other details of their harassment. I was told we should qualify to file a class action so we shall see.

I had the misfortune of dealing with RMS, specifically, JOE Kruchten and it was a nightmare. He was extremely rude and unprofessional, showing no respect or empathy for my situation. He also seemed to lack basic intelligence and didn't even realize that I was actually current with my student accounts, meaning I didn't even owe them anything. I found myself trying to explain it to him many times and it was a complete waste of my time and energy as his incompetence only made the situation worse. I strongly advise anyone to thoroughly check the legitimacy of any debt collection from them before making any payments or engaging with them, to avoid any further unpleasant experiences. Definitely reporting to BBB and anywhere else I can.

Called and spoke with Rebecca and she answered the phone saying “can we speak with Brianna Pearson?” In a demanding way. I have no clue who that is I said and she hung up on me. Then proceeded to ignore/hang up my calls afterwards. These people are trash and I haven’t even paid the debt. I’ll treat you how you treat people RMS!

Very rude customer service. The agent actually said to me "You make this amount, you should be able to pay such and such" in a condescending way, as if they know my personal life. As if they don't understand that COVID really screwed a lot of people. I cannot wait to pay off this school debt so I don't have to speak with any of them again. TONE can make a great difference in the interactions RMS.

They are probably the worst company to deal with! Very rude, I spoke with a lady on June 22nd and said I could probably make another payment on the 30th, and that she would notate my account, I just now received ANOTHER phone call on June 26th... Not even 5 days later, I mean hell I am making payments... Stop harassing me at this point!

Very very rude people horrible customer service Marissa Benitez that works there calls me to harass me on a weekly bases. I understand They have a job to do but being disrespectful, yelling and throwing a tantrum Over the phone because they cannot receive the funds right than and there is a crazy way to act. I have Set up arrangements to pay back my loan and Marissa just likes to go on and on about NOTHING i am Really starting to think that she just likes to talk for fun. She definitely needs to take a customer service class or she will probably have to stay at this job for a very long time with that attitude

Terrible customer service. They claim they won’t let you make payments unless you do a application that ask you for your job information, how much you bring home monthly, where you bank, what’s your account, and probably more but I stopped the rep at that point. I told her I didn’t feel comfortable giving out that information. She got a manager on the line named Angela Irving, let me tell you that woman was EXTREMELY disrespectful towards me for someone to be asking me to take my pocket book out and make a payment. She talked over me the entire time have a VERY smart mouth. I honestly would have rather her left the rep on the line with me than speak to her. She also told me I’m not her customer which confused me because I asked her if I wasn’t her customer I don’t see why she would be on the phone with me. She was not helpful in any way shape or form. It would be great if she was put in trainer on how to be respectful and not talk over people. Not a good experience with the customer service team on this part and I will be reaching out to higher up’s because that’s never a way to speak to someone ESPECIALLY your customers at a place of work.

I just want to know how these people got my info… I’ve never been to college or anything I never went to school after high school and all of a sudden I owe these people almost 4 grand like excuse me how!!! I’ve never taken a loan out let alone gone to any college…
