Recently, I engaged the services of a tax advisor at this location for my annual tax preparation, an experience that unfortunately fell short of my expectations. Throughout the process, which required not one but three separate visits to their office, the level of professionalism and expertise I encountered was disappointing.

My initial visit was to drop off my tax documents, followed by a second appointment to sign and finalize everything for electronic submission. However, complications arose when I was informed during an unexpected third visit that my tax return was neither accepted nor rejected by the IRS, but rather "stuck". "Everyone else's got a response but yours did not. We have not seen that in 15 years." "YOU need to call the IRS." This required me to obtain a hard copy of the return, get it certified, and then mail it myself, adding an unexpected layer of inconvenience and expense to the process. This sequence of events resulted in not only $200 for the tax preparation service but also an additional $7 for mailing costs.

Throughout my interactions, the advisor's communication skills were lacking. Conversations were often punctuated with nervous laughter, repeated statements, and any attempt to suggest ideas or solutions were abruptly interrupted. There was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused, nor any attempt to offer compensation for my time. The suggestion that "if I didn't like the experience I could always go somewhere else" did little to remedy the situation.

In sharing this review, my hope is to provide constructive feedback that underscores the importance of professionalism, effective communication, and customer service in tax preparation services. For others seeking tax assistance, I recommend looking for a provider that not only demonstrates expertise but also values and respects your time and patronage.

Really loved the services at Sikora CPA! The office feels like a home, and everyone who works there is so professional and take care of every person that walks through the door. Meili was absolutely amazing! She is so knowledgeable and makes everything so straight forward. She has so many years of experience and education under her belt, and it truly showed during our two visits with her this year. Would not recommend to anyone, after sending in all requested documents they decided to recommend another firm and terminate all services, they said it was too much to work on. Sounds like inexperience and lack of skill. Your emails and phone calls will be ignored and the blame put on you.

All under the guise of being a small business which is not true. I was there before and the gentleman I was working with quit and it makes sense now he was on a different level then anyone else there and now it's riddled with junior accountants who are over worked and could care less.

Also the office manager is horrendously rude and thinks she can talk to anyone anyway she feels fit and it comes off as extremely unprofessional.

I would avoid if you own a small business or anything of the sort as they lack the skill and knowledge to process things like an expense report. Also refusing to use any accounting software that is designed for this exact thing.
