I can't say enough great things about Simplicity Consulting. We have been using Pamela for years, after working with a couple really awful & inexperienced bookkeepers & an old fashioned CPA, our business consultant insisted we find someone who has experience in our industry. After many interviews with high end firms to people who wanted a job doing our bookkeeping, we made the decision to move forward with Pam. She's been such an amazing resource for our company, spending months fixing our accounting that was messed up for years. We can now do things we've always wanted, pull reports we've always needed, job cost and it be accurate because of her! She's someone we rely on when making any decisions on big purchases, employee hires, taking on a large project, reading and creating contracts to protect us, she's helped us in our estimating process to ensure we are not losing money. She's worked hours on audits we've gone through because of bad past accounting to provide the most accurate information given the situation. She's always been up front and honest even if we thought our way was the right way. She responds to calls and emails quickly and always keeps us up to date on her schedule in the event we may need her. I give her 5 stars & highly recommend her & her team.

Although the owner Pamela is an extremely friendly and even knowledgable individual who will absolutely make you think you are in the best hands ever, be aware of the work ethic that takes place at Simplicity Consulting. Taxes will be submitted last minute with no follow up that they have been received even if they are sent THE DAY OF. Not only is timing an issue, but thoroughness. Our Denver sales taxes were never submitted, payroll was not done correctly as we found out when someone else took over and when the owner "goes on vacation", don't be surprised if she or anyone else for that matter is MIA for an extended amount of time. A two week "vacation" will turn into a month long stint with no one answering voicemails. All you get are full voicemail messages which presumably means you are not the only one desperate to get in touch.

For a matter as important as bookkeeping and the need to stay on top of things, I would not recommend Simplicity Consulting.

I am posting in response to "Harry Pee's" review of Pamela and her staff. Dr. Neil Dobro pulled the same garbage on my company. He comes in with his work, demands that it be done YESTERDAY (he's several years behind, which is no one's fault but his own) and then demands that you change everything immediately if it does not meet his standards, which are not accounting standards. He does not supply all the documentation you need and then gets upset when you don't have everything completed by unrealistic deadlines set by him that no one could meet. Her morals and scruples are of the highest standard and kudos to her and her staff for the excellent job they did do.
