Bridget and her team have been managing multiple rentals for me in the DFW and Austin area since 2013. When I tell you that they are THE best property management company anywhere, that's not an exaggeration. They consistently find and keep great happy tenants over long periods of time and my vacancy has been minimal over the last 11+ years. I can't recommend them enough!

Awful and unprofessional. I had a client interested in viewing one the properties managed by this company. Listing agent Virginia does not reply to texts or phone calls. Therefore I could not get answers to questions that my client had regarding the property. She also would not answer my texts when I was trying to schedule a showing appointment. I am a realtor who had a client interested in a property listed by this company. It is impossible to reach the company. I would HIGHLY advise staying away from this company customer service is terrible, I wouldn't be able to sleep if one my clients signed lease or purchased a house from this company.

A few months ago, I had to move out due to a job transfer, and now that I’m settled into my new place, I have a whole new appreciation for the folks at Texas Management and Leasing. From the beginning, the application process was straightforward, and our time there was genuinely enjoyable. Of course, things happen in any home, but whenever an issue arose, they were on top of it and made sure our family was well taken care of. Their professionalism and dedication made a lasting impression, and I can confidently say they set the standard for property management. Highly recommended!

I was interested in a rental property located in Lavon. I sent an email and waited for a response. Two weeks later, I called and left a voicemail. Waited. No response. I filled out the rental application and three weeks later, I received a call. I was told that if I was not approved I would not get my payment back. The website states that if I was not approved I would receive a refund. I was not approved (even though I met standard qualifications) and I have yet to receive a refund. This happened in April or May. I called, left voicemails, and emails, with no reply. Also, my roommate’s credit check was done WITHOUT her consent. Before, she tried calling back (employee left a voicemail asking to call her back to give consent for a credit check) but no one ever answered the phone or called back. Trust the negative reviews. I wish I would have. Be very careful and document everything if you have no choice but to use Texas Management and Leasing. I will be using BBB to report them and file a complaint.

I don't even want to give this place a 1 star, but I have to in order to make a review.
It deserves to be shutdown based on my experience, and I hope everyone reads this, so they don't get scammed.

First off, my brothers and I are interested in a rental. We request the application, but the process takes about a week to get the documents. We finally get the application, and submit the $60 application fee for each of us. So $180 total. We get approved but they want double the deposit fee because we're first time renters in Texas. We get approved.

Two weeks go by and Virginia finally responds with a quote. It's written down as she is saying it. A weekend goes by, and we request the leasing documents.

The day before we need a place, she explains that we need to send the $5,120 BEFORE signing the lease. She also mentions she needs proof of garbage, sewer, and water from the City. In addition, pet proof of shots.

The amount of stress this management will give you is not worth the hassle.

This place is a scam. Her and her Husband probably named Richard based off the other mentions of names on these reviews takes the money and runs. We ain't sending over $5,000 to get into a place without signing a lease document first.

Scam. Thieves. Frauds. Don't waste your time and money to go through hell on Earth.

I had a client to apply for one of their homes for rent in Venus TX. It has been 10 days and every time I call or my client calls, we are told that we are waiting for the investors to respond. I have never had a property management company take more than a week to process an application. If the time frames are long, then this should be posted somewhere on the website so that consumers and agents are aware and can make a more informed decision. My client is now out of application fees and has to apply for other homes due to the non responsiveness of this company.

I have been very pleased with my townhouse so far! Just moved in. Virginia has taken wonderful care of us. Had a couple of things we needed to take care of on move in and we already have maintenance on the schedule, so its super quick! She has done well with communicating with me, and the townhome was immaculately cleaned. It felt like no one had ever lived here, except for the One Direction sequin pillow that ended up in the water heater room somehow. 😆
It was a slow process getting the application through and approved, and I didn't always get emails back right away or texts like other people have negatively reviewed. But I was never left hanging, and I just do my due dilligence and follow up and am kind about it! So I'm good with that, and I promise you, lack of communication is a trigger of mine where I can turn salty really quick. Don't let the negative reviews scare you off, just gather your OWN experience first before you rush to conclusions. There are lots of neighbors that seem really happy to be in this area, so it can't all be that bad! My experience has been wonderful so far and I hope I can live here for many many years to come.
