These guys ran in to my parked car.

I initially received some communication that they would repair it. Three months later, I'm still working with police and law enforcement and my insurance to get in touch with the owner, Shane Ward. They wont call us back, do not answer phones, and we have now had to file the incident as a hit and run.

I'm not sure you want to put your lives in the hands of these guys, driving around in the back of their bus.

Will update when we have further details.

The worst experience I've ever had with any company. I have used Turtle Bus in the past and have had good experiences before so naturally I was excited at the thought of using them for our wedding weekend. Unfortunately, using Turtle Bus ended up being the only major negative of our wedding.

We decided to use Turtle Bus for a post-wedding ceremony photo-cruise and Turtle Bus Tubing on the Saturday after our wedding for a float trip for all of our guests. We reached out 5-months in advance to ensure that they could accommodate our group and lock in the trips. Communication got progressively worse over time. We understood that it was their busy season but it was next to impossible to get even a few quick questions answered in the weeks leading up to our event.

Wedding Photo-Cruise:
- We booked a 2-hour photo-cruise after our wedding and the bus showed up 50 minutes late. Beyond being disappointing, this had financial ramifications on our cocktail hour, reception, and the investment we made in our photographer.
- We were informed that there would be a bartender on board with a stocked bar. There was no bartender and there was only enough alcohol to last 15 minutes into the ride.

Float Trip:
- We were unable to provide our guests with a payment link until the week of the wedding due to a lack of response. This led to several people dropping out in the weeks prior due to uncertainty
- We were told that we would have 3 buses for our group of over 110 people. The morning of we received a call that they only had 2 buses and one of them broke down. Although we completely understand that things happen beyond anyone's control the inability to provide a feasible solution for a group of this size was disappointing.
- After the weekend they failed to automatically issue refunds. While on my honeymoon I sent several emails, texts, and called multiple times without a single response. Still, 3 weeks later they have not issued refunds for the majority of our group. I have had to advise all of our guests to call their credit card companies and cancel their transactions since Turtle Bus is incapable of issuing refunds which total up to over $10,000 for 110+ people.

The lack of accountability and willingness to make things right after a negative experience is beyond inexcusable. Complete incompetence in the fundamental aspects of running a business.

27 people left stranded for 3 hours in parking lot after show...
Turtle Bus picked us up for the outbound ride 2 hours after the agreed-upon time, so we missed the openers.
Then for the inbound ride, they merged our group with another, assigning a total of 67 people on a single bus. After the driver failed to arrange a backup bus for over an hour, he made our group of 27 people get off, and left us in the parking lot for another 2 hours before the backup bus finally arrived.
Several group members were forced to order other transportation services since they had to get home to care for pets, setting them back additional hundreds of dollars.

Absolutely inexcusable and unprofessional failure to deliver the services for which we paid over $1,000.

This is the first and last time I will ever use Turtle Bus

We love Turtle Bus! We used them for a Halloween concert at Redrocks which was AWESOME! We were combined with another group which worked out perfectly. We were picked up on time and got the whole group home after the show. Never had a bad trip with the Turtle bus and will continue to use the for group shows.

Think again before going with Turtle Bus Wood Fire Pizza…….With the best of intentions supporting a local valley business, we hired Turtle Bus to make pizzas for our daughter’s wedding and it was nothing short of a disaster. They showed up late to the event, could not keep up with providing pizza for roughly 80 people and were completely disrespectful and non-apologetic for their incompetence. In addition to the two individual’s that were tasked with catering the event, three others showed up, sat in the back of the bus and got high and also asked our caterer for a bottle of Tequila while the other two were clearly in over their head supporting an event of this size. Unfortunately, in addition to their poor service, I also contacted Eagle County Health Department to report the horrible cooking conditions of the bus they were utilizing. I take no joy in reporting this however I would not want someone else in the valley to experience the same thing.

Unresponsive owner, lack of communication and logistics planning.

Our group booked a party bus for a concert that would take place in June. We booked this bus service in January. Nearly 6 MONTHS ahead of time.

A week before the event, we were notified of a policy change in which they would need full payment ahead of time because this concert day was “fully booked and demand was high.” This wasn’t agreed to at the time of booking, but whatever.. it was a week before the show and didn’t want to arrange other transport so we obliged.

Day of the show:
Missed first two openers due to a 90 minute late pick up.
Half the group took Ubers to the show.

After the show
No bus was available for our group
Half the group took $300 Ubers home
Sat in the parking lot for 3 hours waiting for a back up bus to arrive.
Back up bus arrives and is a total safety concern. 25% of the windows were missing, bus door had to be secured by a broom and a driver that had his phone in his hand the entire trip home. . I have no idea how these buses pass DOT inspection.

After this fiasco, I contacted the owner Shane multiple times in an attempt to understand and resolve the situation. I never got so much of any response back from Shane until AFTER I filed fraud charges with my credit card company. At that point, I got a “i am sorry” email from Shane, the owner.

Total lack of ownership, communication and just overall business sense. I highly advise you to book elsewhere.

Turtle bus used to be great but they’ve clearly gone downhill. Made us put down a deposit for our ride from Denver to Folsom field (over 1k) and then DIDNT SHOW UP TO PICK US UP. The level of unprofessionalism from them was absurd. We repeatedly called to ask where our bus was and they said “we can’t say for sure if someone is coming or not” ?! We had to Uber to the show and they claimed they would make it right and drive us home but were slow to respond and when they finally did the piled us in a bus with another group making what would be a 30 min drive back to Denver almost 2 hours.

I would give zero stars if I could for how much they messed up our evening. I suggest elevate rides for your Denver party bus needs, this company is garbage.

Shanna was always prompt with email correspondence and phone calls, helped guide me to make the best decisions to the clients, and the booking process was smooth and easy. Not only did Shanna accommodate our request pre-event, she even helped out with a last minute bus addition and upgrade just a few hours before we needed it. And she did it all while maintaining a great and helpful attitude, which made my potentially stressful situation so much easier. If it weren't still a pandemic I would drive to the business and hug Shanna for all the help she gave me through the process.

And process aside, the guests on the event day had an incredible time on the 3 different busses we used! The drivers and bartenders were fun and engaging and everyone left feeling like they'd had a unique and amazing experience!
