The SBDC is a wonderful free resource for anyone that already has a business or someone that is looking to start a business in Houston. I work with clients to help find them a franchise business and often times will direct them the SBDC to get help building a business plan for loan packaging for an SBA loan. They also have access to very robust market research that would normally cost thousands that they can offer for free for specific market data analysis. They also have ongoing educational webinars and in-person workshops. I've been a speaker there and have taught classes on different topics related to finding a franchise and the facility and staff is top notch. I definitely recommend the SBDC for all small businesses looking for supportive resouces.
